That's when the carnage started.

Action, adventure, humor, and chaos abound in this portal fantasy action-adventure thriller that's paced for edge of your seat excitement.

Join Katrina on a hair-raising adventure that pit her against God, the Devil, Zeus, Hera, and Cronos himself as she traipses across the universe breaking as many things as she fixes, fighting her way through Greek, Roman, and Judeo-Christian mythology, and causing trouble at every stop along the way.

Katrina Hates Everything - a review by Rosemary Kenny

A three-book set that will endear every reader to this heroine like no other - Katrina!

Katrina Hates The Apocalypse is Book 1:
A dreadful state of affairs has come to pass - the Devil has released a zombie apocalypse, complete with attendant demons upon the Earth and only the chosen few have been whisked up to Heavenly bliss - and Katrina wasn't one of them!
Life as they knew it is never going to be the same for those left behind; Katrina's best friend Connie's zombie brother Barry is living with Katrina and other zombies have taken all the good remaining jobs. Finally Katrina has had enough and she and Connie, who's mad because her boyfriend got killed, decide to take the fight back to the Devil who started the end of the world.
With a nod to Sean of the Dead and other black-humored movies, Russell Nohelty brings the realities and 'what if...?' alternatives to the all-too-real possibilities facing our World in one form or another, if we don't start taking care of it properly.

Book 2 is Katrina Hates the Gods:
KHTG is Book 2 in the Katrina fantasy adventure series by the outstanding graphic novel turned literary masterpiece author (see also My Father Didn't Kill Himself and Spaceship Broken), Russell Nohelty.
I've adored his work since first meeting Katrina in Pixie Dust and have been entranced by her ever since. This feisty little pixie packs one hell of a punch - never more so than after killing Lucifer then becoming the Queen of Hell in a previous novel. Now she's on the trail of Chief Titan and King of the Greek Gods of Olympus, Zeus himself - why? Because he's dethroned God for his failure to stop the Apocalypse (Katrina had to do that herself) and is threatening to send Earth spinning into the void while he seeks out a replacement, which could take millennia.
Of course Zeus is not going to come quietly - he's been having far too much fun without anyone around to disturb his peace! But there's no way Katrina will give up her thirst for revenge, no matter the cost or the other deities who are ranged against her to block her access.

What happens next? You'll have to fly to the bookstore and grab yourself a copy of Katrina Hates the Gods by Russell Nohelty right now...it's sure to be such a hit with gamers and graphics fans as well as everyone who loves a great fantasy adventure unlike any other, it'll sell out in no time - don't delay and tell all your friends!

Finally comes Book 3 - Katrina Hates The Universe:
Our girl Katrina sure gets around in Russell Nohelty's novella Katrina Hates the Universe, the grand finale in the Katrina series.
Having lived as a human til the age of 30, nothing was ever the same again. Progressing over the centuries from being Queen of Hell and then a goddess, Katrina's now become Queen of Heaven, having deposed Zeus from Mount Olympus and sent Hera his wife to follow him after the former Father of the Gods was consumed by Cronos, destroyer of Worlds and later cast out into outer darkness with his paramour.

When things go wrong - as inevitably they do, (with Heaven itself being invaded by the Horde, huge murderous super-insects), Katrina has to mend her fences with more than one former enemy, competitive deities, denizens of Hell itself, plus reluctant allies from the far reaches beyond the edge of the Universe itself.
When the ultimate battle's dust settles, who will walk away victorious - and what happens after they do?
Only one way to find out...you got it ...or will do, as soon as the bookstore opens. Don't miss it!

It's not every story that can start off with the Apocalypse and build from there. Having read the author's earlier graphic novel about Katrina, I was very curious to see what he was going to do with prose in the same style. Other than a few minor quibbles, I was delighted at the way this one read. It was a weird mixture of "grim and gritty" with "Katrina never quits."
My minor quibbles were really with the gods, as portrayed. First, it's basically the Greek pantheon who get named in the story. The others are just uncredited extras. Second, they seem just a tad on the dim side, when it comes to actually, you know, using their powers. If most of the beings in the story had real brains, Katrina wouldn't have survived.
Still, I enjoyed Katrina and her unstoppable path through 10,000 years of story, which is difficult to do in only 400 pages [the three novels are all fairly short, in the old-school style of SF and horror]. The series was a page-turner, and I'm really glad I bought the book. Of course, that's an expensive decision, because now I'm going to have to BUY more of the author's books. Sigh...

I love the idea of having all of the Katrina stories in one place for one price. These are three of the most exciting, enjoyable and often funny stories I have read in a long time. Katrina and her motley crew create havoc on earth, in heaven and across the universe, but her unerring sense of fairness and optimism can't help but leave a reader feeling that the world ... and everything, is in good hands.

Difficult to put down action filled books

If you like your heroes to have witty and foul mouths and have skills fighting demons, and other underworld riff raff then these books are for you. This collection contains books 1 to 3 and is a fun ride. I marked it down because the proofreading let through several misspelt words. Apart from that the characters and story were great fun.
