Just a guy who becomes obsessed with finding out if his friend's cock is as big as the gossip says. Just totally regular friendly college guy stuff. Whatevs, it was hot and it gave me a HEA which, as erotica it doesn't have to do and my romantic ass is very here for that.
I think it could've leaned a little more into the D/s dynamic that it seemed Steven was wanting, and I could have absolutely done without the "buddy" and "dude" popping up during sexy times but I will still read the fuck out of the rest of these.

The Beast
So, I'm giving this one a 3.65* It was okay. The general premise was good and I liked the character of Steven - who's suddenly curious about what his friend is packing. I was a little surprised that both MC'S just jumped right in, but the guess that's part of the idea. Lucas seems to jump from straight to "something more" pretty quickly and I would have liked a little more introspection on his part, but, again, it was part of the plot. I definitely liked the epilogue and seeing that they got their HEA. My only real complaint is that I wish there was more because just as I'm getting into the story and characters, it's over! Lol Lucas Blaze is great at short erotica and I can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

Read this last night and already can't remember much of anything... Guess that says everything I need to know about this novella.
I don't remember absolutely hating it.
I do remember having trouble rating it, so I left it for this morning... whoops.
The basic premise of the story has been done before, though. Many times. I don't think it's anything special.
However if you like bi/gay awakenings where one of the MCs is a big, gorgeous jock that has a giant dick, this is one you might enjoy.

I loved that he was doing his own research just to end up being the guy that was being crushed on the whole time. Like Amelia said “it’s fated”. This one didn't work for me. I guess either the plot or the sex need to be plausible and here neither are. There's also a respectable amount of telling instead of showing, and the way Luke kept calling Steven "buddy" during sex just hit me wrong. The supposed to be sweet epilogue didn't work for me either because Luke and Steven's relationship, such as it was, was far more believable as a hookup.
