I was gifted this book by a dear friend, the author, Annetta Allison. I don’t mind sharing that it was hard for me to get started with the book as Annetta is brutally honest in sharing the terrible things that happened in her life…and I was learning these things about my friend. After a page or two, I put the book down, I couldn’t go on. I finally picked it up again last night and found that after accepting that all these things made Annetta, Annetta, I was unable to put the book down again and read through it quickly. The smart, beautiful, and funny woman I know, and love, became who she is because of everything and everyone in her life. And I am proud to call her my friend! Read this book, it will change you.
