Renley Desperate for cash, Renley makes a choice–probably a bad one. However, at the end of the night, what bad could come from one night with a stranger? When his new boss walks into the room, Renley finds out exactly what. Being an ex-con readjusting into society is hard enough, so he has no choice but to take the job. After all, he can ignore his growing feelings for Eveline, right?
Eveline After a wonderful, no-strings-attached night with an even better man, Eveline has found herself in a predicament. The escort she’d hired, turns out to be her new hire. She tries her best to be professional, but there’s something about the younger, edgier man that has her questioning everything she thought she knew.
Don’t let the cute cover deceive you, this book is for an adult audience.
Tanja is a spicy romance author who loves to write about strong female characters, loving love interests, and the occasional vampires and werewolves.
Besides writing she is a mother and nursing student, with a hectic life and an ever-changing work schedule. Writing is her escape from reality in which she can let go of all the stress that comes with managing a family of three and balancing work and private life.
Tropes: 🔸Wheelchair user FMC x Abled MMC (Interabled relationship) 🔸Age Gap, She's older by 9 years 🔸FMC Boss x MMC Employee 🔸He was her escort 🔸 Opposites attract 🔸 Insta-lust 🔸 Fast burn
It's a sweet short read, lots of smut for my liking, but it was emotionally rich, he's super respectful and loving, so it's alright, I'll let that pass. This book was way too sweet, nice and all things sunshine, I wanted to see some conflict here and there, atleast realistically, you're gonna have some issues when you meet the love of your life, right? It was a little bituva let down seeing how mature and communicative they were. It's like when a thing is too good. Like cmon, they had massive differences, yet so calm and relaxed about it. I did appreciate how much I learned about wheelchair users though, I had no idea one needs to adjust THAT much, because it never crossed my mind. I love that the FMC is confident in her workplace, assertive, and funny. She's a good boss. She's definitely a well written character, I like how the author encourages health, fitness and therapy. This book in general has a positive theme to it. What I did get icky of is "kitten." as the pet name. It's mentioned 77 times in the book. It's my personal preference though, I'm not a fan of pet names with animals in them. I loved her two cats, especially whenever they'd go greedy for food and glare at MMC. So real. Would I recommend this to someone who wants to read about a Disabled FMC? Yes.
I love this series and how there is representation in every book. This one has such a strong fmc and a man who is down bad for her, the cats were so cute and accurate. I love how she was his boss but felt confident and comfortable enough to hand him the reins inside of the bedroom. It's a short and fast paced read. 🧁Reverse Age Gap 🧁Blue-collar Guy 🧁Workspace Romance 🧁Praise 🧁She's the boss at work, he takes control in the bedroom
Thank you to Tanja Longoria and Booksirens for this ARC
I adore Tanja Longoria and her stories - the premise behind this one was great I just didn’t feel as well with these characters. I wasn’t routing for them like I usually do but I thoroughly enjoyed the disability representation and I will continue to pick up the rest of the books in the series.
Rating: 5/5 I received an ARC for my honest opinion
So, let me start with this; Longoria knows how to write a steamy disability rep book that is filled with love, acceptance, found family and so much more. The books’ theme is Save a horse, ride a cowboy; that is the best way I can tell you what the book is about.
In this book you will meet Eveline, she is wheelchair bound after having a car accident, but that doesn’t stop her from doing what she loves. She loves being an engineer and designing spaces for clients, but she feels as if she is missing out on the romance in her life. One night she called a professional service to spend 1 night with her, and she got the night that she wanted and so much more. Renley is not proud of the job that he picks up, but he will do anything that he can to get his life back on track. However, this call is one that just might change his life and for the best.
This was such a cute book, it didn’t feel fake or like it wouldn’t ever happen, but this felt like it could happen, and no other characters deserve love and happiness like these characters. I loved the reverse age gap. It made it really fun and just made sense when you understand both of those characters. Eveline, she is a true girl boss, she has been through h3ll and came out better for it. She understands where she needs help and where she doesn’t and normally it’s not that big of a deal that she is in a wheelchair, and she was little worried with Renley at first but the way that Renley treats her makes her feel comfortable in her own skin. He doesn’t treat her like she can’t do things but just helps her without even thinking about it. I loved that the characters were able to talk to each other about their lives, dreams and their wishes for a future. I loved that instead of the characters looking only outside of each other, they saw the greatness inside that they could each be. I loved how they ran into each other after their one night, it was like a romcom in the movies. I found the ending of the book to have been sweet and just what I needed, and I can’t wait to read the next book.
If you’re looking for a romance that is cozy, sweet, spicy, great disability rep and so much love you need to read this book.
I want to thank the author for the opportunity to review this book.
Raspberry Cake Naughty Desserts Series Book 4 By Tanja Longoria
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶
🍰 A Steamy Feel Good Romance 🐈⬛ Workplace Romance 🍰 Age Gap 🐈⬛ Disability Rep 🍰 Insta-love 🐈⬛ Cinnamon Roll ex Con MMC 🍰 Strong Independent FMC
This was another adorable fast read Standalone in the Naughty Desserts series By Tanja Longoria which has an amazing disability rep with beautiful healthy communication between MCs.
Raspberry Cake is a love story between Renley (MMC) and ex con who has had a hard time finding a job since being out but manages to land a job in construction, but before he starts he has a one night only paid Fling with a beautiful blonde. Queue Eveline the beautiful blonde (FMC) who paid for that one night Fling because she just wanted a night where her wheelchair status didn't make her feel less than even though she is literally partner of her very own company in...you guessed it construction 😆 Now back to the quite awkward interview where Renley gets the job.
Will they be able to keep things professional or will it all turn into one big mess?
This is a beautiful representation of what a healthy relationship is, their communication is something to aspire to.
Save a horse, ride a cowboy! That is exactly what @tanjalongoria has in store for you in #RaspberryCake.
When Eveline called for some professional servicing she got more than she bargained for in Renley! A cowboy with class and follow-through. But when he shows up at her office as the new hire things go from a one-night adventure to long-term planning.
I adore Renley and Eveline together. They way they flow with one another, caring for each other in the ways that heal their hearts and souls is beautiful. Renley naturally intuits how best to accomodate Eveline when needed but doesn't patronize her.
Eveline is a complete girl boss- literally and figuratively. Co-owner of her own company, she has such keen awareness of the needs of her clients and team. I strive to be like that in my work.
The reverse age gap is a fun twist on classic tropes. The dynamic works completely for the MCs. Their chemistry and mutual appreciation for one another's lived experiences make them heart warming and steamy!
Another wonderful addition to the #NaughtyDessertsSeries!

I had to think about this book and review for a time after finishing it. There were parts of this story that I loved; the normalization of love, relationships and sex between an able bodied and disabled individual. I also appreciated the truth behind the pain, embarrassment and discrimination those with disabilities face regularly. What I struggled with was how these two met and how the story just jumped right in. Not that I actually had an issue with their interaction but just that there was no build up or preamble. It felt as though there was something missing from the story.
Overall, this is a bit of a fairytale - two lost and unhappy people finding their 'someone' and falling quickly. There are some amazingly hot scenes and an overly lovable golden-retriever type male lead. Giving this one 3.5 stars.

I just want to say - never judge a book by it's cover, as this book is not as innocence as it would seem, and it has the artwork inside to prove it.
Although there was an element of spice, it doesn't take over the story, which was easy to follow and very endearing, particularly as Renley does not see Eveline's disability as a hurdle - he just sees her and how strong she is in terms of overcoming the accident and getting on with her life and the job she well and truly loves. I also loved how they just fall so hard for each other almost immediately and that they are both realist that they are each other's end game.
A nice easy and quick read with a lovely HEA to finish.
🍰 Strangers to Lovers 💕 Work Colleagues 🍰 Age Gap (FMC is older) 💕 Disability Rep 🍰 Ex Con (MMC)
I really do love this series! All of the stories are realistic and heartwarming, with plenty of steamy scenes throughout. If you are looking for a love at first sight, office romance then this book is for you. Eveline is an independent, brutaly honest woman who is looking for a bit more in life. Whether that be a steamy night with a stranger or her forever-man. Renley is down-on-his-luck, lost man who is trying to get his life in order. It's not easy making a future when you past is lingering, but he is a straightforward man, who knows what he wants and will do what he can to make it happen. A blooming love story, with the trials of life and pursuit of happiness. I highly recommend this book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Raspberry Cake by Tanja Longoria I really enjoyed this book! Eveline and Renley’s story was both heartwarming and exciting. Eveline, a strong, independent woman, and Renley, a younger man determined to change his life, felt like such a refreshing couple.
Their dynamic was so much fun to read—Renley encourages Eveline to step out of her comfort zone, while she helps him see his own worth. The workplace twist after their one-night stand made their journey even more interesting. I also appreciated the disability representation—it added a thoughtful layer to the story.
It’s an adorable, slightly spicy romance that left me smiling. Overall, I had a great time with this book.
I love how Tanja usually includes some type of disability representation in her stories. This one is no different. Super sweet story about Renley and Eveline. Renley is an ex-con who is trying to get his life together. A very bad decision landed him in jail. Eveline is in a wheelchair due to an accident. They meet when Eveline hires an "escort" for an evening. Then low and behold, Eveline becomes his new boss.
These two characters are so sweet it might give you a toothache! LOL Their story is definitely cute and sweet. They had me laughing several times. I loved how they both discover a hidden k*nk in their passions. Renley is such a caring gentleman and definitely shows Eveline a good time. Eveline shows Renley some of his hidden good traits as well.
Definitely a steamy feel good romance!

It’s cozy, tender, and beautifully steamy in all the right ways. A true comfort read. The mutual trust, the respect from the beginning, and the undeniable chemistry were a hit for me. The MMCs meet in an unconventional way, but their relationship still develops organically. I love this whole series, and once again Tanja did a brilliant job of showing that desire, agency, and romance are not limited by age, or ability. The vulnerability was top notch, and the intimacy was so well written. If you’re looking for a romance that’s cosy, spicy, full of heart, and unafraid to explore disability with honesty and care, I can’t recommend this book and this whole series enough. Can’t wait for the next one!!
So far every book in this standalone series has not disappointed me. Another spicy age gap romance. This time the FMC was in a wheelchair….and his boss. I feel like this one was the best yet but maybe I’m just bias about Renley. Ugh he was the PERFECT man for Eveline. He stood up for her and made her feel normal. They could easily talk to each other and didn’t mind spending time together at home. I loved the family aspect of this also from her business partner to her sister and her family. Already ready to read the next one as well!
This was a another great book. It was a sweet but steamy page turner and the suspense was so intense. I was on the verge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. The chemistry between them was warm and the sexual tension and the physical attraction was outer of this world and more. These feelings they couldn't even fight the temptation any longer in this moment. I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. LOVED this book! It’s sweet, short and spicy. I have read 2 of the previous books in this series and loved them both as well. The main characters do not have issues with misunderstanding each other. It is an age gap where she is older. While I prefer the male older, this was I great book and that preference did not affect my review. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Renley and Eveline are so cute together. There are sparks between them from the very start and I’m so glad they give into them. Renley truly is doing all he can to be a stand up guy and put his best foot forward in his life. Eveline chooses to see the best side of him and support him in the journey. Seeing how they help each other grow is so special.
And the spice is SPICEY! Tanja never fails to bring the heat!
One of my favorite authors. I have so many, but Tanja is really amazing on her scenarios. This one is about falling in love after making mistakes in your life. How one door opens when others are shut. I love both Eveline and Renley. They are both wonderful people who work through any problems. I love thier dates and the hotness of their evenings. Great book. This is book 4 of a series. Love them all.
I was in a reading slump and it gave me a Kickstart to jump back into reading. I loved the characters in this book. Renley and Eveline truly compliment each other. I could relate a little bit to Eveline when she would talk down on herself sometimes.Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. I truly wasn't prepared for it to end. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This book was very sweet, in both story and characters. While their bedroom activities are hot and spicy, the rest of the plot is sweet.
Some of you may enjoy this fast burn, insta-lust story, but for me, I think Tanja could've expanded on Renley's backstory and maybe had him and Eveline meet a few more times before meeting at a job interview.
I want to cry, this book is so good! I always love Tanja’s writing, this is probably my all time favorite series! Renley and Eveline are so well written. The story is cute, funny, and downright sexy. The disability rep is fantastic as always.

Tanja has the cutest little books. I love that this series features main characters with a physical disability but that it doesn't stop them from living their lives and finding happiness. If you love age gap spicy romances, check this one out.

Really quick, cute book in the naughty desserts series. But it was too insta-love for me - I know it’s a short little book but… there didn’t seem to be a lot of build up. But I liked how Renley pushed Eveline and saw her for who she is.
Raspberry Cake was incredible! I loved the disability representation in this book and how it doesn't take from the romance. This book remained lighthearted, sweet, and spicy. I will for sure be checking out more of this author's books!
This was an okay read, light and sweet and uncomplicated, but it kind of avoided a lot of issues.
Also/among them, why did she meet him when she hired him as a sex worker, then never even ask about testing before telling him she's on birth control and wants to ditch the condoms?
This was an enjoyable read that's about Renley and Eveline. Renley who's an ex-con is having a hard time getting job, so he takes an escort job, and his client is Eveline. What started as a massage in her room ended with a night of passion. One week later going to a job interview for a construction job Renley runs into Eveline, co-owner, who runs the administration work for the company. Their night of passion created an intense attraction between them. Will they give in to it? What occurs afterwards as Renley works for the company was an enjoyable story. Loved the characters and their interactions were engaging. Loved that our author wrote about someone in a wheelchair and her problems of finding someone to love her and how Renley looked at the women inside in this older woman younger man romance. I'd volunteer to read and review this enjoyable copy I'd received via BookSirens.
