Rate this book
The finale of the Alex and The Angel series.

Inspector Harvey Cooper is back in the saddle as a new spate of murders begins. Horrific acts that make no sense but need to be solved, and with his trusted secretary Emma at his side he soon finds out his personal life will become a major hurdle as his loving wife, Flo, tries her best to keep him on track.

Alex Webb is living a new life in a bedsit above a café down at the docks unaware of the inevitable chaos his suicide attempt caused, while Jay Cleaver has also turned over a new leaf and seeks to be a better man.

The Angel’s Vengeance however has other plans having escaped the ending of the Red Frame to find itself in a new and willing host.

Together they will all find out the answer to the most important question…Why?

I am the author of the Alex and the Angel series of four books. A fast paced thriller set in modern day Edinburgh. The genre is psychological crime with supernatural elements. I have written for my whole life, poetry, plays, and murder mysteries. The Life Machine is my first novel and has been wonderfully received as being unique in a world of same style books. My work is unlike anyone else out there. Thank you for reading this. D xx

The finale of the Alex and the Angel series is a tense and exciting roller-coaster ride which is simply impossible to get off.
It is a dark and gritty ending to a wonderful series. One which is both enthralling and compelling, right to the very end.
The author masterfully balances heart-pounding moments with some delightfully dark undertones, that leave you eager to turn the page.
A fantastic conclusion to the series, and a MUST read for all. I loved this book!
