Disappointing
After reading all the hype and reviews about Morning Prayer Book: 30 Days of Christian Devotions and Prayers for Spiritual Growth with Jesus by Stefania Leao and Alexander Debelov, I expected a soul-stirring devotional. However, I was very disappointed. While the design and layout of the book is beautiful, the reflections, and prayers are shallow. There are better devotion books out there.

If the daily devo’s were just expanded on then it could be impactful- especially combined with the beautiful illustrations. The synopsis on the back states that with just 10 minutes a day your life can be changed, but it’s more like 30 seconds a day with how short each day is.

I enjoyed the daily devotion this book offered. However, there were several technical issues. I started this book on my Kindle. Then the kindle said it no longer supports this book and cannot open it. Then I started to read it on my computer and Kindle app on my phone. Once again the book was no longer supported and I couldn’t open it on my computer, then my phone. Wish I could have finished the devotions and repeated them monthly, but when the book won’t open, I can’t enjoy it.

#Goodreadsgiveaway like a fellow reviewer I was a little disappointed in this. Probably because I had read another devotional book that I had won also and that author had much more personalized reflections. This one only wrote about a paragraph and reflections. The one bright spot on this book is the beautiful illustrations by Alexander. If you really want to read a very short book then this is the one for you.
