A sister stolen. A world on the brink. A fate that cannot be escaped. Elisa is gone, and Stella will stop at nothing to bring her home. But as she is working with the Dragon Lord, long buried truths rise to the surface, unraveling everything they thought they knew. With shifting alliances and Elisa's fate unknown, every choice carries weight and some sacrifices cannot be undone. The end is here. The fight for their world has begun. Some bonds can't be broken. Some destinies can't be denied.
This was such an amazing conclusion to the trilogy. I really loved how some of the characters truly got what they were owed and some found the courage and strength they needed to be the leaders they were destined to be. This had to be my favorite book in the series! Maybe one day the author will bring us back to this world.
This book was by far my favourite on the entire series and I can’t believe the story has come to an end. I loved following Elisa and Stella on this journey.
There is one massive loss that I don’t think I will ever heal from 😩 and some really good plot twists that I wasn’t expecting.
I loved how we got to explore different parts of the Aeloria and experienced different POVs.
“You’re everything I ever wanted… everything I could never be. You… You are light, Elisa. You… are my light.”
“You will forever be my world,” he whispered, his voice low, broken, and full of a pain so deep it shattered something inside me. “Even if I wasn’t yours.”
I loved the twists and turns. This book caught my off guard a few times with the secrets that were revealed. I loved the character growth for some of the characters and the fact that some character got exactly what they earned. (You will have to read the series to find out!)
I am sad the series is over, but I am excited to see what A. B. Duncan comes up with next.
I really enjoyed this book. It was probably my favorite book of the series. I feel like it really wrapped up the series, answering all the questions that we had been left with. There was plenty of action, a few twists, and character and relationship growth. While I was unhappy about one aspect of the ending, I think it ended how it should have, and I highly recommend this series.
The conclusion to this trilogy. I loved the dragon lord. I loved when they traversed the shattered sea and the forest. Myrindell was intriguing. I felt like this book in the series explored more of the areas in the world than in the previous books. I felt like the ending concluded in the best possible way for both sisters.
