A masked man at the doorway. An enticing order and a night of intense pleasure.
We could have chosen to fight. Instead, we ran, knowing he’d chase us.
I wanted to get caught.
I shouldn’t be excited at the thought of being captured and pucked wherever he trapped us.
But that was where we found ourselves.
It was a far cry from the scandal that nearly ended my marriage to my NHL defenseman husband, Chris Minns.
This was so much riskier.
If anyone found out, it would destroy his pro-hockey career. His team, the San Diego Seals, wouldn’t accept any more negative press.
Vacationing in Fiji was supposed to be our second change. We wanted to reconnect and repair the damage to our marriage.
The trip turned into so much more.
I just hope we don’t puck up.
Don’t Puck Up is a masked-man MMF why choose romance with a sexy possessive stranger who loves the chase, a bisexual pro-hockey player who’s on the path to self-acceptance, and a curvy girl who captures both their hearts.
CW: violence and religion-based homophobia.

By day Ann Grech lives in the corporate world and can be found sitting behind a desk typing away at reports and papers or lecturing to a room full of students. She graduated with a PhD in 2016 and is now an over-qualified nerd. Glasses, briefcase, high heels and a pencil skirt, she’s got the librarian look nailed too. If only they knew! She swears like a sailor, so that’s got to be a hint. The other one was “the look” from her tattoo artist when she told him that she wanted her kids initials “B” and “J” tattooed on her foot. It took a second to register that it might be a bad idea. She’s never entirely fit in and loves escaping into a book—whether it’s reading or writing one. But she’s found her tribe now and loves her MM book world family. She dislikes cooking, but loves eating, can’t figure out technology, but is addicted to it, and her guilty pleasure is Byron Bay Cookies. Oh and shoes. And lingerie. And maybe handbags too. Well, if we’re being honest, we’d probably have to add her library too given the state of her credit card every month (what can she say, she’s a bookworm at heart)! She also publishes her raunchier short stories under her pen name, Olive Hiscock.
I'm a massive fan of the first book in the San Diego Seals series, so I was really excited for this one. Don’t Puck Up finally gives us the story of the couple who catalysed everything in book one. It dives straight into their relationship struggles, finding trust again, and how they actually grow together.
The betrayal to the FMC is acknowledged thoughtfully, but I felt like it wasn't explored enough. There just wasn't enough evidence of how hard it would have been for her. But the way they come back to heal with each other? Incredibly beautiful. Though I still can’t see how they were so blind to their masked lover's identity. Having said that, their genuine growth toward each other, the three of them, won me over.
The dialogue and imagery pulled me in. I could hear their voices, picture the scenes, and it was hot. I also loved that the consent and safety aspects were carefully handled. It set a clear, respectful boundary for them all, making the sex high-heat but still deeply intimate.
When Ann describes the plays, it honestly feels like you're watching a live hockey game. The world is well integrated and the side characters pop up naturally without being intrusive.
There is a violent scene that absolutely breaks your heart, though. It feels horrific and completely realistic, capturing an experience that far too many people have actually endured when sharing their sexuality.
Overall, great character depth, solid story development, and a hockey world that feels totally real. Looking forward to the next instalment
Note to author: I keep worrying about Hewitt! I'm getting genuinely anxious for his future with the Seals.
Had to take a day off after the puck up that was the previous book (and the book before, and the 3 books before that, and ⅕ of the first MMF series) to regenerate and psyche myself up for today's pick
Let's see what we got in the basket
Oh and I'm writing this a bit more organised The previous reviews were more on the rant-ier side with no adress to where the quotes were from And today i feel more professional than petty and butthurt
My final judgy message before i start this:
Oh look, masked men, the favorite trope between the heterosexual ladies of the booktok Mix it with another hetero women's booktop obsession, hockey romance Then Make it "poly" (allegedly And boom We'd have the heteroest MMF book to ever hetero Can't wait to get into it, read more MF sex than i can read in one setting, see the MLM through the woman's eye, hear about how they love her more than they love each, how she's their glue/center, how the guys love for her is different even tho they still love each other... in a sense and get even more disappointed... again... (i have to report that i was delightfully wrong, super duper wrong, THANK YOU, ANN, FOR PROVING ME WRONG)
So, let's start
Chapter 1-5
So far, I'm not very fond of either of the married couple Chris is a coward And Kamirah is a doormat, idgaf how she's justifying it with love, he literally ruined her life and he didn't even think about how it'll ruin her Don't get me started on what they did to Alec, i might've not liked his book but i liked him as a character... i think i did idk.. but yeah, they still fucked him up.
Chapter 6
Eh, he's fine, I'm not wooed Let's wait and see how he'll gonna be If he's as pussy obssessed and hetero centeric as the previous MMCs or if he's actually willing to love a man just as much as a woman, just like the earlier MMCs from this author (HE WAS, I REPORT HE LOVED THEM EQUALLY, YAAAAYYYY)
Chapter 7
So far, thank god Chris's first time bottoming was in his own pov It was good I enjoyed it more than i thought And i love how it was about both of them, instead of being focused solely on Kamirah She had her turn, it was fully about her And then it was fully focused on Chris It felt more balanced than any of the scenes from the previous 2 releases Took her a good 5-book-run but she finally did the bare minimum I'm not applauding her for that at the moment, i need her to stay consistent
Chapter 8
I have to admit, i was a bit wrong of how the direction of this one is going I like their chemistry, all of them So far, he has praised them both equally And the moment Chris needed more cause he was drowning in his own thoughts, he'd ramped up praising him a bit more And the touches are quite tender, considering it's a bit on the more raunchier and riskier side That to say, Kamirah is not left out, which i really appreciate She actually took a little control on how their session should go, and her men listened And i find her openness to Chris bottoming very hot, she's by far my favorite FMC of the last 2 series (Zali, Cara and Carina can fade into the history for all i care) I still think she's a huge doormat Yet, I'm still willing to turn a blind eye on that Let's focus on now
******
The whole scene was very hot and passionate, something that was missing from the previous 2 books First book had a bit of it But the unbalance in the dynamics made it super dull, like the rustiest knife in the bottom of an old kitchen drawer Here, it's strong I love how Kamirah took what she wanted and held her man after "Vigilante" left And i loved how Chris just went with the flow despite the rampant internalised homophobia in his head
But I'm still holding my guards up If anything this author has proven to me, is that she can go from a perfect flow and dynamic to straight up shit Case in point, the first book in this series
Chapter 9
I like him a bit more (Locke) He's observant And i like how he didn’t make Chris's struggles into a sermon about how strong Kamirah is (may your dick fall off, Ryder) And the affection he has for Chris and Us bring ABLE to read it through HIS OWN thoughts, is a bit healing Now i need a bit more of his thoughts about Kam, just not in a way that makes it obvious he likes her more than Chris, i want him to be into her just as much as he is into Chris I don't wanna feel any favorites It turned me off of the last 5 books and Adelaide’s
Chapter 10
Love this so far See how easy it is to center them in turns? Not only it won't leave them out It'll make the dynamics more interesting and valid I'm actually exited about Kam getting shish kababed on their dicks rather than dreading it
Let's see how it'll go I'm wishing to see the guys be affectionate on the side as well Like how Kam was in the last chapter She still gave Chris and Locke their moment, but she was still involved cause she was still wanted She didn't take the focus off of Chris, she just enhanced it by giving him what he wanted imo Really loved seeing her getting eaten out as she kept looking back at her husband getting pounded into the next book So. Damn. Hot
***
“I really want to feel what Chris felt when you fucked his ass.”
Iktrrrrrr I love this The author is really redeeming herself in this It feels like her earlier MMFs It feels so good when you know they'll take turns in taking the center
***
I love how in tune all 3 of them are with each other I'm so glad I'm reading this At least to this point She's the focus yes But the guys are not sidelined Their interactions are not forced It's not for her It's for them It comes naturally Rather than a scripture they play cause the book is marketed as MMF+ And i really appreciate that it's not in her POV I've had enough of that, too much of it even
***
Just checked
Cara had 14 chapters out of 29 (1st book) Carina had 18 out of 37 (2nd book) And Kam has 11 out of 27 (3rd book) That tells you everything I've been babbling about Specially in the 2nd book, considering there were 4 povs and she took almost half of the length of the book
***
So, let me regroup before going into the next chapter
I love the storyline, the dynamics and the relationship as a whole I'm still not very fond of Chris, i wanna give him the benefit of the doubt as someone who still lives in a very, very homophobic country (any act of honosexuality is punishable by death, so... yeah), so i know the importance of needing to keep your true self hidden to survive, but he could at least try to come up with something The whole TMZ debacle wasn't only about him Yet he didn't even try, and sacrificed Kam and Alec in the process Not very fond of him for that I'm neutral about Kam and Locke Kam grew on me, a lot, i assume she's usually the strong type who knows what she wants, but her achilles heel is Chris... eh, it's always a man ruining a woman's happiness Locke is fine, we only saw him as Locke twice But as the Vigilante, he's quite the character
All to say I'm not the biggest fan of them as characters But I'm invested in their story and dynamic
Their dynamic is quite ideal Everybody gets a slice Everybody gets their moment Their importance is not based on how hot the FMC finds their sex to be And their dynamic is not hetero centeric Thank god, Amin ya rab al alamin, hallelujah, praise santa mariah and every single holy spirit in existence for that
I love how Locke calls them "our man" and "our woman" Both of them give me the butterflies See when you do it right, i literally swoon over the FMC? Cause it gives her character the spotlight automatically alongside her men Instead forcing her into the spotlight by making everything about her
There were no insensitive and weird comments has been made... yet And thank god for that
It reminds me of her earlier MMF books And that's a compliment I knew she still had it in her
But enough of that, let's not jinx it and let's hope it stays consistent and balanced I need that I desperately need that
Chapter 11
Their group chat is fun I was cheesing hard
They really have great chemistry Is it insta lust? Yes But the chemistry is natural The first book had it too But it was ruined The 2nd book lacked it from the first word Here, it's sizzling And I'm really grateful for that
Like look at this
("Train hard, boy. I’m thinking of you."
I swooned. The butterflies that appeared whenever I thought of our masked man took flight and did loop de loops in my belly. Even just looking at his messages had my heart beating a little harder and faster.)
Like see how easy it is to enhance the feelings between the two men without centering it on anyone but them? Centering the men and their relationship in a few moments is not sidelining the FMC, wish the authors understood that, it's not even logical to expect her to always be the center
Moving on
See how easy it is? It's so simple Yet effective And don't worry, Kam was also in the group chat and she had her part in the banter I love her playfulness It suits her
And V
The way he keeps tabs on them both? Asks them about their day?
And how he made things a bit right for Kam's job? Yeah I'm swooning too
***
Jesus, they started to sex chat And it's hot Like really HOT I enjoyed this chapter
Chapter 12
The next 3 chapters are all in Kam's pov and I'm a bit nervous But I'm putting my faith in Ann to not disappoint me for the 6th time in a row This book has been a huge redemption moment for her so far but it's only ⅓ of it I want it to stay that way
Let me get into it then Please be good and balanced and not centred fully on her🤞🏼
***
"The three men—Gauthier, Rusty, and Travis—had been college roommates, and they’d stayed together after college. Carina seemed to slip straight in and fit perfectly into their dynamic."
Uh huh.. Fit perfectly you said.. not forced perfectly, but FIT perfectly.. Sure.. Right.. I believe you.. If you say so.. If. You. Say. So
Anyways
***
(“If he is, he definitely needs to reward you for the way you played tonight.” Chris slipped in behind me as we walked, and the hard ridge of his erection pressed against myass. “I want to watch him make you come too.”)
That's what I'm talking about!!! They want pleasure for each other, not only for the FMC. Uuuuugh, was it so hard to do the same for the previous books? I was so invested in Monroe, i wanted to love his book so bad
***
"My panties were wet, and my clit throbbed."
Me too girly, me too.
***
I'm grinning like an idiot Even tho it's in her POV The threesome does not have a set centre They're constantly changing plans And it's so hot Also, i love how they use "our" to refer to each other
"Our guy" "Our man" "Our woman" "Our girl"
It's so fucking hot, you don't understand
**
Chris riding V while simultaneously fucking Kam... that's it.. that's the message And their dialogues are so good
It's so fairly distributed that i don't even mind that it's in Kam's pov She's enjoying herself and knows her men are also enjoying themselves, and she loves the fact that they're enjoying each other
I love that for her and her men
Chapter 13-14
I'm a bit on defense about this chapter If Kam's going to have a solo scene with V Chris better get one as well It always botheres me when the FMC gets 1on1 time with the guys but they don't get get the same with each other, and if they do, it's short and lousily written I'm not making a comment on this till i see the existence or lack of existence of a 1on1 scene between the guys I'll be back on this later
****
Well, technically it wasn't a 1on1 but it actually was? So idk It was super hot tho, they still included Chris... in a way And V still reminded them that he wants Chris too So, yeah It was hot Atp I'm happy Kam is so hot, idc
Chapter 15-16
Idk if there'll be another book but if there is, can it be Hewitt, his wife and their guy... please? I liked him in first book
****
I noticed this but forgot to mention it Cause i was occupied with.. ehem.. other important things in this story But his movie is called vigilante He has a mask from the movie set, Wears it Then as Locke, he is always there right before they see V And those two, who are clearly big fans, haven't connected the dots?
Ooooooowkay then, moving on...
***
It's official, i like Kam and Locke I'm still disappointed in Chris, but idk Maybe i can forgive him later I'm certainly warming up to him
Locke is so cute It's adorable how happy he is when he's with them And their date (maybe date?) was also fun
Chapter 17
Ann, thank you For giving us a chapter fully focused on the MM pair And still not excluding Kam from it She's just sitting there, vibrator in hand and plug in the butt Enjoying her masked man, pleasuring her husband
And Chris is finally getting the very deserved semi 1on1 moment with his masked man
This is so hot and beautiful
And it makes me so happy I sound like a broken record But it reminds me of her earlier MMFs And i absolutely love that
***
It's starting to moving deeper in the emotional territory And I'm ready for it
P.n: i love how protective of their privacy Locke is. He doesn't even want to associate himself a lot with them as Locke. He believes that him being openly bisexual would ruin things for Chris. It's sad, but it's admirable.
Unlike a grown woman's actions with her 3 boyfriends
Chapter 18
Ooh, a vacation And their convo was adorable
Chapter 19
He's pulling the mask off But he wants them to be blindfolded I get it But i don't think they'll care that V is actually Locke I believe they'll actually be elated, they literally said multiple times that Locke is the only man they liked for long or something like that
Chapter 20
Should've been in Locke's POV Considering it's his first time kissing them And kissing their bodies I wanted to see it through his eyes and live it with his emotions, this is big But i digress Let's see it through Kam's POV I'm not judging it for now Cause the book has been very great so far So I'm putting my trust into Ann
***
Thank god it's descriptive and neutral enough And thank god Locke is keeping his attention on them equally I'm so happy about this I'm fully ok with this chapter being in Kam's POV
***
I loved this They were fully connected durring the act
But the last thing Kam said was a gut punch, idk why It made my skin crawl
“We love you being our secret.”
I know she didn't mean it in a viscous way, but damn, lady Tell us how you really feel Let me get into the next chapter
Chapter 21
Damn... He felt it too...
Let me read a bit more
***
Now i feel bad Dammit Kam Why did you say that?
His texts are sad
Chapter 22
The way Chris talks about V (Locke)... my heart I'm rooting for them so bad Unlike a certain foursome...
Moving on I wanna know what Kam thinks about him too, dammit 😩
***
“I’m ready to come out. I want us to be able to live authentically. I’ve asked a lot of you when it comes to hiding and I’ve given you fewer choices than you deserved. But I want to change that.”
YES!!! finally an acknowledgement of how much he took from Kam. Thank you!!!
I'm hppy for him, tho. It takes guts to come out, specially when you know the fallout would be catastrophic.
***
“Coming out is one thing, but you aren’t calling the shots on our relationship this time. This is a joint decision.”
GET HIS ASS FOR ME, KAM. THAT'S MY GIRL!!!
***
Oh.. the awful religious lady has a bob.. and it's greying... may all the gods help you, man.
.... already hate his family The smell of hypocrisy, misogyny, homophobia, jesus figurines, salt and pepper, and shallow existence is bothering my nose, through the damn screen mind you
They better get it over with, and do it fast
(“You’re… you’re bi-what? What does that mean?” Mom said, her voice eerily calm.)
Oh her ass really lives in th 1500s UK Cause what in the hell???? Even jesus and her flowy dress knew bisexuality
“‘Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind: it is an abomination,’” Mom spat. She dropped her cutlery onto her plate, and the rattle echoed through the silent room. “You take back what you just said. Repent, and you may still enter the kingdom of heaven.”
Then explain this, miss evil bob
(“You will go to hell for this. Sodomy is a sin. That… man is going to be your downfall,” she cried, her voice carrying through the whole house. “Jesus died on the cross for you. He sacrificed himself for you, and this is how you repay him? By living a life of sin?”)
Then what is this???
Ik i can't slap a woman But my girlfriends can She has at least 5 slaps reserved from my girls ***
Oh no, slap is not enough Specially the men, i can do things to them Like i really need to tear their neck arteries with my bare teeth Crush their balls with nutcrackers Shave their legs with lawnmowers Pull that lifted skin from the side of their nails and pull it till their skin falls off like a kinder egg's shell
Chapter 24
Can Monroe hug me too? I feel like it'll heal me My daddy issues are going rampant and it's not in the slightest sexual Jesus christ
Chapter 25
Chris came out publicly I'm happy fot him Hopefully one day, I'll be safe enough to do the same
Chapter 26
They're in Locke's house for the first time And it's adorable I love their playfulness
"I wanted to devour them, to touch and taste every inch of their delectable bodies. Kam and I could have, but by an unspoken agreement, we’d decided to wait. We both wanted Chris with us."
And i adore you both for that.
**** Now they're having sex And it's Locke's first time bottoming for Chris And you have no idea how elated i am that it's in his own POV Just... happy And then he shifted his focus to Kam And it was gorgeous I loved reading this chapter
Chapter 27
I was reading it grinning I'm truly happy for them
In conclusion:
Happy that it's over Not because it was bad But because it was the redemption this author needed after the messes that were her past 5 releases She really reminded me of her early works with this one I'm happy to say that this one is the queerest and fairest one out of the 3
I'll forever mourn the loss of Monroe’s book not being as good as i needed it to be And the fact I've never experienced his first times with Alec through his own POV But hey He's still as loveable as he was in Zali's messes.. i mean.. books..
It absolutely deserves the 4 stars. And that 1 star is not added because i didn't feel as connected to the MCs as i wanted. Yet, i still enjoyed the story, the relationship, the dynamics and the sex. Everything else was almost as perfect as i could hope for. I also loved how the obstacles were handled logically, specially compared to Carina's book
I don't know how Ann did it, but I am one of those people who can hold a grudge and Chris was on my sh-t list after what he did to Huxley. I understand the circumstances of why he did what he did but like I said, I hold grudges. The point is Ann somehow got me to forgive this man, connect with him, and even root for him, and that's no easy task. Chris, Kamirah and V/Locke are one hot throuple. OMG those Fiji scenes had me panting and begging for more. My gosh, what a deliciously steamy story. I loved these three together. The story is also full of emotional moments between each other but also between them and their families, and them and the team. Ann did an amazing job bringing the religious trauma and the religious discrimination so many people in the LGBTQIA+ community are made to endure, all in the name of God. Let me just not get started on this topic or I'll never stop. However, I would've loved to see more groveling from Chris to both Huxley, the team, and especially Kamirah. That being said, the point is the book is great, the romance is awesome, the spice is volcano hot and Ann did it all masterfully. Cannot recommend enough!
How Chris could be redeemed after the betrayal of Huxley was something that I was totally not ready for….I admit that he was on my “no Christmas card” list as a character. And yet Ann worked her magic and made me feel for him , forgive and even in the end be converted to his cheer squad…
Chris, Kamirah, and Locke’s story is everything - tender, passionate, and achingly human. The connection between them isn’t just physical (though those Fiji scenes? Holy hell 🔥) — it’s emotional, raw, and healing. Watching them learn to love themselves and each other, despite fear, shame, and the weight of the past, absolutely shattered me.
Ann doesn’t shy away from the hard stuff — the religious trauma, the discrimination, the deep scars so many in the LGBTQIA+ community carry. She writes it with honesty and heart, showing both the pain and the power of reclaiming your truth. It’s heavy, it’s hopeful, and it’s real. Chris’s journey of redemption was one of the most moving parts of the book. The found family, the team, the unwavering love — I very happily admit to turning into a blubbering mess during parts of this book.
Ann balanced scorching heat with soul-deep emotion, and this book is a perfect example of that. It’s about love in all its messy, beautiful forms — forgiveness, acceptance, and the courage to be seen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Stunningly emotional, unapologetically steamy, and profoundly human. Ann reminds us that redemption isn’t just possible — it’s worth fighting for.
Although I was on the ARC group for this I actually was lucky enough to get a pre-release purchase at RARE25 Melbourne. To hold the book in my hands made the read so much more enjoyable.
Ann Grech, you have once again floored me with another beautifully written, emotionally draining unputdownable story. I have always loved Ann's poly stories, but DON'T PUCK UP reached deeply into my heart. It was the story of a couple trying to repair a broken relationship, a masked man who not only brings truth but a deeper love, the trauma of religious discrimination, and the fear of being who you were always meant to be. DON'T PUCK UP brought on tears, made you laugh, scream with frustration and rage, and brought on a lot of sighs. It made me feel.
Chris and Kamirah Minns are trying to repair a marriage due to the consequences of his actions involving his teammate Alec Huxley, Sweet as Puck. A holiday in Fiji turns into so much more than either expected when they meet an enticing masked stranger. V brings a new dynamic to their relationship, one which has Chris realising he finally has to accept and admit a truth he has been denying for so long. This throuple, Chris, Kam, and V, are incredible together, the emotion, understanding, and acceptance between them were simply beautiful. The heat ... WOW! Spicy, kinky, flammable, explosive, never have three people been more perfect for each other.
Ann holds nothing back with this story. It is the perfect example of why I love her words and keep coming back for more. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Hockey, a masked man, and a poly relationship? Instant win in my books.
Throw in the fact we're getting Kam and Minns' story (I've been wondering about them since the events of book one), and this book gripped me from the second I started reading. Minns finally gets his redemption, and what a beautiful one it was.
My bestie and I buddy-read this ARC, and you know when a book has either one of our attentions, as our discord thread goes silence. We were both so swept away with the emotions, the storyline and the events in this book that we went from "holy shit, V is hot" to "Ann just made me cry" hours later, much percentage of the book later - heed the warnings in this one, because it gets tough.
There are so many amazing moments in this book - from Minns, Kam and V connecting, to allowing themselves to be free with their wants and wishes, but the most powerful, amazing, emotion evoking moment? The moment of acceptance. (Not me hiding praying that's not a spoiler!)
As I said to my bestie - Ann's writing is so genuine, and so powerful. You wouldn't expect such emotional turmoil from a poly hockey romance, but damn did she bring it, and always brings it with every book in this series. It's the combination of the emotion, the spice/k!nk, and the romance that keeps us coming back for more, time and time again.
Again, the found family is strong in this one, and the set up/character reveal for the next book has me so excited!
Thank you to the author and @forewordpr for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.
This one was a steamy holiday getaway turned real life redemption romance. I thought for sure that I would be kicking Chris in the ankles for eternity, but Ann redeemed him and more in this one. The reader gets to see him blossom as a partner to his wife and Locke, but more than that, watching him and Hux and Monroe’s developing friendship repaired the pieces of my heart that broke both in this book and in Sweet as Puck. Locke is possessive and protective in the best possible ways. He’s a perfect fit and a good reminder that things work out for a reason. Although some would argue, I think Kam’s one of the strongest women. She stood with the man she loved while he fought his demons and came out stronger on the other side. She found her true tribe of friends. She found herself and what she valued most and wasn’t willing to compromise on. Plus, her relationship with her dad made me emotional in the best way. I was rooting for these three, and I can’t wait for our next Seal pairing to find love so we can check in on the team again.
3.5 Stars I'm not gonna lie I was skeptical of this one going in because of Chris and Kam earlier in the series. Then I knew this book was also going to take me out of my reading comfort zone. I'm already very invested in this series so I'm very glad I did give this one a chance. Getting to know Chris and seeing his point of view redeemed him so much. His family besides his nieces and nephews are pure evil of the world. I had to set the book aside a couple times because it was so hard reading what he was going through. It made the Seals brotherhood all the important on that team. Kam and Chris live out some of their fantasies in this one. I think this is my first book I read with a masked man chasing his love interest. That's definitely not my typical read, but Locke does it respectfully and with care so I wasn't taken out of the book. I'm glad Kam and Chris could redeem themselves and show the true people they are. This is a MMF romance with a lot of emotion.
Masked man MMF romance that had some redemption for Chris who we found in book one of the series.
If you need a ride or die FMC who takes the heat for her man, this one is for you. Kamirah loves her man deeply and is hurt by his choice to stay silent. I found Chris hard to like at the beginning but I understand his feelings, especially with a family like his. Playing with fire, they find their fantasy of being stalked and "loved" come true. Locke is a movie star who plays delves into method acting deeply. He becomes V for them after a chance meeting and overhearing their fantasy.
This one is about accepting yourself, forgiveness and finding new love. Emotions run high in this one and it has homophobic based violence so please beware of the triggers.

I swear Ann puts something in her books that just makes them so utterly addictive and impossible to put down. There is always a perfect blend of humour, fluff, spice, and heavy-hitting emotion.
Whilst written as an interconnected standalone and you can totally launch straight into this one, I’d really recommend reading at least the first book in the series before this one so you can truly appreciate Minn’s character growth. (plus, it’s also just as good… #justsaying)
As my bestie said in their own review, you know it’s a good book when both of us forget we are buddy reading it and the Discord thread goes dead silent for 50% of the book…
I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and I’ve already picked up a copy of the SE…
I'm a big fan of Ann's work, and I must say she excelled in this series. I appreciated getting to know them from a different perspective, beyond the scope of the other two books. I'm truly proud of Chris for his actions. And, I must commend Kam for her unwavering support, despite the pain it caused her - it was palpable even to me. Fortunately, they rekindled their relationship and took the necessary steps to achieve happiness. Their masked man was indeed top-tier perfection!! And the spice, 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵!! I've thoroughly enjoyed this series and witnessing the character development. I'm eagerly anticipating the next book.
I was worried going into this one as I disliked Minns from book 1 but now he's my favorite! This book, these characters, their connection is amazing and my favorite in the series so far. I loved the redemption arc and massive personal growth of Minns, although his family sucks. Kam was sunshine and support and Locke was just a darling! I found their dynamic unique and intriguing and while the content warnings concerned me, I found it organic and very well done. I personally didn't feel any unease or fear or question the consent. I really enjoyed this trio and dynamic!! Such a great read.
‘Don’t Puck Up’ is book #3 in the San Diego seals Hockey Series. It was perfect as a standalone but even better when you have read the earlier books. I love Ann Grech and her polygamous MMF romances, I can’t resist any of them.
As expected Minn and her men give us a book that is full of steam chemistry, a rollercoaster of emotions all piled into a great storyline with some added laughs and soft bits ❤️
I loved finally getting Chris and Kam’s story! They meet someone in Fiji and, eventually, realize they’ve fallen for him. Chris is finally ready to come out, but not everyone is supportive. Spicy hot deliciousness and a bit of heartbreak. I love these characters and how they’ve found family with their friends and teammates. So great!!!
This was the first book I've ever read from Ann Grech and I'll be getting the other books from this series. Honestly I absolutely feel in love with Minns, Kam and Locke. There was just the right amount of tension and the best amount of smut and I absolutely loved it all. Can't wait to read the rest of the series as I already feel on love with the other characters.
Love this series! Yes there's spice but these stories and characters have so much heart. Like others mentioned, the redemption and growth of Chris, plus his heartbreaking and all-too-real coming out experience, made this so much more than just a sexy hockey romance. Can't wait to read #4 when it's released!
Loved this book! 3/4 of the way through nearly shocked me but I know stuff like that happens. I sure loved how Chris came to terms with himself and especially how the three of them loved each other so much. What a great book and especially loved all the spicy scenes! What a treat ! Can’t wait for the next one!
Grech leans into the erotic fantasy but builds it on top of strong characters with complex emotions and issues that draw sympathy, even when they're making mistakes,
. . . but mainly, this is great mmf chase smut with a fully fleshed storyline
Secret identity is such an interesting trope. I kind of hate it but I really liked this book. Chris isn't such a bad dude, he loved Kam and he royally fucked up. Locke was good for them both and his reveal was done better than I expected. The whole thing brought me to tears .
This was a spicy little story! A couple vacationing, a neighbour overhearing their steamy fantasies and helping them act on them? Hot!
I liked this one! It's an MMF story, where one character is hiding his identity most of the time due to his popularity in the real world. That fact didn't deter the married couple though, and the relationship between the three became something sweet and real.
I enjoy this author's work, and this was another great read!
I just can’t get enough of this authors MMF romances and well anything she writes really.. We’ve known this couple since the last book because of the big scandal and I couldn’t wait for them to get their happily ever after. I’m so happy for them. This story actually made me tear up it was so heartfelt!! And the spice? Well 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
