This is the second book in the series and like the first was not bad but again nothing spectacular. The romance once again left me a bit unsatisfied. We have our hero, an engineer who is a bit cynical about love after finding out from his heart-broken mother about dead dad's cheating. The heroine is a famous documentary-maker who is about to come shoot at a project the hero is helming. The hero doesn't have great thoughts about her, having heard her history, how ten years before she had an affair with the son of the town's richest man, a son who happened to be engaged. For the heroine the project is a dream she shared with her dad who recently passed away and contrary to what the town assumes she has no interest in her ex. She regrets what happened ten years earlier; she was a young 19-year old who got swept by her hormones. One thing I would have like to known but something which wasn't made clear was did the heroine know that the guy she had an affair with was engaged? Otherwise the book wasn't bad, the heroine was a thorough professional who didn't let people's judgment bother her. She even set the hero straight and I did appreciate that once these two got involved that the hero had faith in her. Overall not a bad one-time read.

3.5 stars A good read with a suspenseful storyline (although the outcome was easily worked out early on so no surprise at the end) i really like the Henderson brothers and I fairly flew through this book. decent read
