Unsolved abductions. Unspeakable horrors. Can one man stop a terrifying predator before more children are tortured?

FBI profiler Cole Chambers refuses to give in to his demons. Still dealing with the trauma unleashed by his first case on the job, he hopes to preserve a balance between getting into the psyche of criminals and his own grip on peace. But the rookie agent squares off against a new monster when a missing Salt Lake City boy mysteriously reappears…bearing the marks of mental abuse.

Uncovering a devastating pattern of kids vanishing without a trace, Chambers and his team dive into a frantic investigation of the victims’ families and a culprit with depraved intentions. But as the kidnappings escalate and he falls deeper into a corrupt mind, the maelstrom of inner and external evils threatens to plunge him under.

Can he save innocents before falling prey to the darkness?

Listen, if you’re looking for a light, cozy mystery—keep walking. This book is like being thrown into a mental tug-of-war between a haunted FBI profiler and a villain straight out of your worst nightmares.

Cole Chambers is that guy—smart, broken, and trying way too hard to keep it together while chasing monsters no one else sees coming. He’s still dealing with the emotional shrapnel from his first case, and now he’s knee-deep in a new one involving missing kids, creepy clues, and enough psychological tension to make my blood pressure spike.

The plot is fast, dark, and full of “wait, WHAT?!” moments. Every twist hits like a slap in a silent room. And the writing? Super cinematic—like I could feel the Utah cold and hear the eerie silence when something was just about to go terribly wrong.

Basically, if you’re into crime thrillers with serious emotional depth, characters you actually care about, and a villain you lowkey want to punch in the face, The Salt Lake Snatcher needs to be on your list. But maybe don’t read it before bed… unless you’re cool with paranoid pacing and checking your locks twice.

A really chilling and gripping thriller. Cole has to investigate the kidnapping and murder of several children. The crimes are horrific and the story was so compelling. The plot twists were amazing. We have characters you love and a villain who was so detestable. A fabulous read.
