Every Perfect Lie: A Quick Read Psychological Thriller

Rate this book
I thought I had the perfect husband, until I uncovered his first lie.

He was having an affair with his colleague, Vanessa.

I knew I should confront him, but it wasn't that simple. Andrew had been hiding more than just his mistress from me.
He was not the man I thought I married.

When I discovered the true nature of his relationship with Vanessa, everything took a sinister turn.
They were not just lovers - they were partners in crime.

As I dug deeper into their web of deceit, I realized I had two be the victim, or take control.

I was done being a victim.

This book reminded me of The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose. Don’t get me wrong, Dane writes excellently- It just wasn’t really my vibe!

Both books by Rose and Dane explore the theme of heartbreak, and of their marriage being shattered by secrets and lies. Both wives go to extremes to get revenge. Every Perfect Lie is more intimate, smaller in scope, and more focused on one partner discovering the deception.

I wouldn’t recommend this if you like plot twists, but if you like reading books with betrayal, hidden criminality and the protagonist taking control, maybe give it a shot!

Wow I didn’t see that coming. I read this book in one day on audible.

Emma is a dutiful wife who is married to Andrew. Emma ends up finding out that Andrew is having an affair with his assistant Vanessa. As she uncovers his affair she ends up finding out Andrew has more secrets.

I really enjoyed this book it kept me glued and wanting the story to be longer.

That was a decent enough read. A scorned wife wants her revenge. The twist was so so. But I will
