Fighting Finale 😀
A good mix of the political drama to the storyline, along with character development and the saucy scenes 👍
It picks up directly after the last book and it might just be me but t took me a little while to re-engage with the story and the characters (might be because it’s been a while but just didn’t quite instantly click). But you do soon seen the maturity in the characters compared to the start of the series so it was good to see realistic growth within them ( I say them, definitely some more than others 🤣) The men in particular let go of their hang ups to really show a Hanna what she means to them and the lengths they’ll go to to prove it 🥰 she really rules the roost with them demonstrating her Queen worthy status 👑 it’s a good build up to the action within this conclusion and how manoeuvring they’ve been doing leads to Edric’s downfall 😬 it’s a well-earned HEA!

Heart of Royals is the fourth and final book in the Royal Ice Dragons. This cannot be read as a standalone and ends in a HEA.

You have:
🔥Why Choose/RH
🔥Forced Marrage
🔥Exes
🔥Dragon Shifters
🔥Touch Her and ☠️
🔥MFMM
🔥Political Drama
🔥Fast Burn
🔥HEA

AHHHHHHH!! A well deserved HEA for Hanna, Thorne, Dare and Kaelan. The loose ends were tied and resolved. I've been hooked since the first book. I was a little disappointed about some things but that didn't take from my enjoyment. It was non-stop action, full of romance and the character growth was well done. Definitely worth the read!

Hanna and her husbands (old and recently added) are preparing for what is to come. The Serpent Queen isn't sitting idly by waiting for them to come back. Has she truly sided with Kaelan's father? Or is there more going on than meets the eye? Hanna is struggling with the shadow goddess who "shares" her body. Is there a way to get her out without stripping away Hanna's own magic?
The drama builds to a conclusion as they head home to battle Kaelan's father and fight for his people. Honor is reluctant to let her sister go to this fight, but with her own family under attack, what choice does she have?
This book draws the series to a conclusion, while giving you tasty steamy moments that give you some heat without fogging up the pages to the extreme (pouts LOL! we wanted more).
The story is left with a loose conclusion because not everything gets tied up in the end, but it's still a good book and worth checking out.

Heart of Royals

I absolutely loved this world. Hanna has been a favorite of mine. I loved everything about this final book in this world. She definitely is goddess material. Once I started reading, I didn't want to put it down. Non-stop action and suspense from the very first

the ending sucked

*spoiler alert* Book four - series ending sucked. Why does she have to lose her magic? The being who took it was a Goddess. The Goddess couldn’t give her magic back? Come on…she’s a Goddess! Like, maybe, Hanna could get her powers back after however long it was that Hanna had had access to the Goddess’s magic? Or, the guys could’ve given up some of their magic to get her out? I mean something! Idk. Will her lifespan even be as long as the guy’s now? Isn’t her sister even more powerful than her now? Wasn’t that one of Hanna’s insecurities? Nope. I didn’t like it. She was a badass dragon shifter and now has no magic because somehow she was so intertwined with the Goddess, the Goddess HAD to take her magic with her??? It doesn’t make sense.

Hanna believed surviving the goddess within her would be her toughest challenge yet. However, she was mistaken. As Hanna, her mate Kaelan, her new husband Dare and the ever-loyal Thorne prepare to confront Kaelan’s ruthless father Edric, the fragile balance of their world begins to crumble. The goddess within Hanna is no longer silent; she whispers, pushes and hungers. Hanna’s resolve is tested as she struggles to maintain control.

Queen Honour, Hanna’s sister and ruler of her own realm, watches with growing fear. Power like this demands a price and Hanna’s ability to control the goddess is uncertain. Will she slip away or can she truly master it? Honour must decide whether to trust her sister or protect her kingdom from her.

Divided loyalties are compounded by the Snake Queen’s alliance with Edric. She strikes Honor’s lands, forcing her to defend her people instead of standing by Hanna in the impending war. With enemies on every side and darkness rising from within, the question shifts from whether Edric will fall to whether Hanna will remain herself when the battle concludes.

In a tale of fierce love, dangerous power and family bound by more than blood, loyalties are tested, kingdoms are burned and destiny demands its due. The goddess is awakening and she may not be on their side.

Last adventure

Hanna and her men are back! It's been a little while, but it just gave readers a chance to miss this little band of rebels.

Heart of Royals is the fourth and final book in the Royal Ice Dragons series, which the author wraps up beautifully.

War is coming and they must act, but Hanna is struggling with the goddess, that happens to share her body. She has to work hard not to lose herself and help the ones she loves. But time is running out, King Edric won't wait. Kaelan must gather up his allies and claim the throne.

So much takes place in this last book. The intense storyline pulled me from chapter to chapter. And I'm so pleased that the author stayed true to these characters the whole time, while tying everything together with such perfection. Loved it!

Plus, I loved that she had Honor and her men make an appearance. They are what started me into this series so it was nice to have them there at the end.

I'm going to miss Hanna, Kaelan, Dare, and Thorne. I look forward to whatever series this author brings us next.

Hanna, Kaelan, Dare ( her recent new husband), and Thorne are about to embark on their battle to take down Kaelan’s father. There are just a few little problems like the goddess that is still inside Hanna. Will Hanna be able to control her? Or is the goddess taking her over? Then of course there is the Queen Honor, Hanna’s sister she and her mates are worried about Hanna. Can she be trusted with the goddess inside her? Will Honor try to keep Hanna with her when Kaelan, Dare, and Thorne leave to fight to take down Edric, Kaelan’s father? Then it looks like the Snake Queen has sided with Edric as she is attacking Honor’s land, which of course means Honor cannot fight with her sister to take down Edric. What is the outcome to be, will Edric be taken down and goddess delt with? Of course there is many other things, so I am not giving anything away. You will have to read this story of complex personalities and special gifts and of course the love that makes them all family.

Oh my word May Dawson does it again... She held me captive in her story of Dragon Shifters, A goddess and a royal Kingdom that needed to be protected from an evil King. This story is very fast paced and full of spicy heat that melts any ice that may form. The Characters are strong and powerful of which they have to be in order to win that battle that was ahead of them.
The FMC I find to be strong willed and very courageous for what she has to go through and deal with along with being the future Queen with her 3 Hot dragon shifter men.
The MMC's are amazing handsome, strong and they deeply care for their Queen.
The ending leaves us on a happy note but with the feeling that this adventure is not over. There is still evil lurking around and our fierce leaders are not going to let it go unchecked by any means.
So, if you love Dragon Shifters. Fighting for the Freedom of People, Spicy Scenes, Strong FMC then I highly recommend this series.

The war continues and our princesses finds her way back to kae and thorn. Nervous to tell him about her marriage to dare they finally tell kae and find hes not as mad as they would have thought. Hannah struggles with the shadow weaver every time she uses her shadow power almost losing herself entirely to the goddess. She finds it difficult to continue to save her men and keep herself anchored into her own body.
Things the book has
Dragon shifters
Spicey scenes plenty of them throughout the book
Rope play
War, fighting and killing
3 males to 1 female
Internal struggles
Self loathing
Past abuse and trauma
I love how may keeps true to the series and starts off where the last one ends tying all her books together. Her writing style alway is descriptive and brings you into the world shes created for readers making it so there is never a dull moment.

This book is another reason why this author is an automatic one click for me. It’s been a minute seen readers have seen what Hannah and her men are going through. Yet, only one page to remember everything and be pulled back into the story and fight. It’s time to take the battle to King Edric and Kaelen is consolidating his ally forces. Tensions are running high with all concerns pointed at Hannah and the Shadow Weaver. This fast-paced, emotionally charged finale is all the things. Romance, action, intrigue, spiciness, humor, sarcasm, and all the things that have made the shifter kingdoms so much fun to be immersed in. This author has yet to put out anything I wouldn’t read and Hannah has to be one of my favorite heroines. If you are looking for a paranormal RH, this book hits all the check marks. Just get the series and thank me later. 10/10

An explosive, emotional, and very spicy conclusion to the Ice Dragon Royals series. Hanna is in a great place with Kae, Thorne, and Dare, and the tension—romantic and otherwise—is deliciously intense. Her battle with the shadow weaver adds constant danger as every use of her power risks losing herself to the goddess within.
The war is brutal, the bonds are unbreakable, and the spice is abundant. Dragon shifters, reverse harem perfection, rope play, and high-stakes action are woven together seamlessly. May stays true to the series, starting exactly where the last book ended and delivering nonstop emotion, heat, and payoff.
A deeply satisfying HEA and the perfect send-off for these characters. I can’t wait to see what May writes next. 🔥🐉

This is the conclusion of Hanna and her ice dragons' story.
I loved this story and the entire series. I really loved following the struggle Hanna was going through with the shadow weaver. I about cried with everything Hanna sacrificed in the end. I really hope that somehow it comes out that she gets it back My biggest reason for only giving it four stars was that it had been a while since through last book and with no real refreshing, I spent did time looking up the other books and Honor's books to remember any of it. I read so many books, it's hard to remember details about books when they're spaced out.
Overall though, it was really enjoyable, even when I was worried it was going to be stretched into a 5th book.
I highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. This is the final book in the series and we see Hanna having to struggle dealing with the shadow queen trying to take over while trying to help Kaelen over throw his father for his Ice kingdom. She is also trying to balance her relationships with Dare and Thorne and Kaelen during this. I also loved getting to see Honor and her men and of course all of their kids.
In the end It was nice to see Hanna and her men finally get their HEA. They truly had to fight for it and in the end were able to achieve it. I think Kaelen is still my favorite of the guys even though the other two finally won me over in the end. I absolutely recommend this series and of course recommend Honors series as well where we first meet Hanna as a kid.

I really enjoyed this read. May Dawson is one of those authours that I call a comfort authour. I know when I dive into one of their series, I am going to be so fully invested in the series. I know that many of my go to tropes are going to be in her books. I know the world building is going to be fantastic and I know the character creation and development throughout the series will be phenomenal. This series ticks all those for me. I have really enjoyed Hanna and her journey. It has not been an easy one and this last book is non stop from beginning to end! While I am sad to see this very entertaining series end, I am also looking forward to seeing what we are treated with next! This entire series was a wonderful, fun, read with suspense and spice and action to the very end!

I absolutely loved Hanna’s story. From Book 1 to Book 4. This book gave me all the feels. From happiness to fear and everything in between I was on the edge of my seat turning pages. There was never a lull in this final story. We got to see Hanna take on the role of Goddess as she struggled with the Shadow Weaver sharing her powers. Not to mention continuing to battle against Edric so Kaelan could claim the thrown. The love and loyalty between Hanna and all three of her men was beyond powerful and totally #goals!

May delivered a beautifully written conclusion that left use wanting more from this world.

The fifth book and conclusion to the series. I so love Hanna. This woman faced down a goddess that possessed her. No matter how much it may of destroyed her she let the goddess do what was needed to save her men and the realm she calls home. But what do you do when that goddess doesn’t plan on letting you take control again? Her men have faced their own demons and would face them again to save her. Each of them is strong and powerful and would die to do what was right. And the love only builds as the story goes. I just hope we get to read more with them in the future and hopefully with her sister, Honor, too.

We finally get the conclusion of Hanna and her men! And while some may not be happy with how it ended, I felt it was a fitting ending with everything they went through. We also got hints of what would happen in the first 10 chapters, so it shouldn't come as a surprise.

I loved the growth and cohesiveness we see with this quartet throughout their story, and while they are far from perfect, they are perfect for each other. I think, with Hanna's background and the insecurities we have seen throughout Honor's story and her own, it was about finding those she could be herself with, regardless of what "power" she could give, and being enough just by being her.

10/10. I just love Hanna’s story and the tie in with Honor. their similarities and differences are so nice to see. I’m always happy when we get to hear about honor and the kids and her men.

I hope we get a little more of their happy ever after or spin off somehow someway. It would be nice to see what the oldest son of Honors story may look like. Maybe even the Shadow Weavers perspective. I’m not super convinced when she mentioned lack of wanting to be worshipped by men and her quick disappearances when Hanna experiences that. Is it her avoidance due to past experiences?
Can’t wait for whatever’s next whether it’s their story or a new one.

Heart of Royals by May Dawson Is the fourth book in the Royal Ice Dragon series and was the perfect finale for Hanna, Kaelan, Dare and Thorne and so worth waiting for!!! Finally seeing them stand against her father and finally take down the corrupt King that terrorized them men for years to end his reign was definitely satisfying! And as for the Goddess that was still sharing her body? Crazy perfection as always lol there was so much going on in this final chapter of their story and it’s crazy how it all came together—needless to say May is a mastermind and definitely pulled this one together!

Hanna has returned to the Isle in an attempt to gain support from her sister in fighting the Ice King. She's finally in a good place with her men, though she could personally do without the Shadow Queen that has attached herself to Hanna (sharing your brain and body with another being isn't all it's cracked up to be).

Heart of Royals is the riveting finale in the Royal Ice Dragons series. Follow Hannah and her men (along with that very handy yet very pesky Shadow Queen) on their final journey to claim the throne that is truly theirs.

Hana is a joy to read. She is a quick witted and brilliant woman, who loves fiercely. Luckily she is also loved fiercely by three men who are probably not quite as complicated as she is, although Kaelin and Hana definitely would tie if it was a competition for drama. The thing I loved about this final book was that Hana and her men all came together, but the toughest battles were the internal ones. Ultimately it becomes a choice between power and love. This is fast paced, steamy, full of love and banter and just so much fun!

Heart of Royals is the riveting finale in the Royal Ice Dragons series. Hanna is in a great place with Kae, Thorne, and Dare, unfortunately her battle with the shadow weaver adds constant danger as every use of her power risks losing herself to the goddess within, not to mention continuing to battle against Edric so Kaelan could claim the thrown. Filled with tons of action, hot and steamy romance and political intrigue. This was a beautiful ending to the series where we see if Hanna and her men get their HEA.

This book met and then surpassed my expectations!! I was unsure how the war would end, as well as how the relationships would gain strength. It was everything that I could hope for. I highly recommend this final book! Hannah is well written, and while at times I would get aggravated with her, that really translates to the humanity of her character. All of us feel insecure, angry, and annoyed. Granted, I don’t have a goddess in me lol, but her relationships with the guys are top tier and feel so genuine. Great book, and I can’t read whatever is next!

This was a great conclusion to the series, we picked up where we left off in book 3, I loved seeing how in tune the guys were with Hanna realizing that she was worried her family might to do something to help keep her safe. I enjoyed getting to see the dynamic between the guys forming as Thorne and Dare took charge while Kalen was indisposed. I enjoyed their ending well deserved after all they had to overcome to get it and was extremely pleased when they took down Kalen’s dad, I hope we get to see these characters again in the future.

This was a wonderful series full of action, romance and political intrigue. Hanna, Dare, Kealan and Thorne are all such great characters and I’ve loved watching them grow together over the last few books. Not only do we see them learn to work together, but they all undergo their individual journeys and I love to see the character development from it. Overall, this is a great series. If you loved Honor’s story, you will definitely love Hanna’s!

Beautiful ending to the series where we see if Hanna and her men get their HEA.
The final battles and tests for the group are action packed and passion filled and leave you feeling overcome with happiness for them all.
Watching the characters grow and move together is so satisfying and a good amount of spiced up scenes keep the pages turning!
I really enjoyed this series and although sad to say Goodbye to Hanna, am sure there will more magic to get engrossed in from MD before long 🩷

To find out how they get on and if they get their hard won HEA, dive into this wonderfully written book with complex characters and plot twists that keep you gasping and turning pages throughout! I loved reading this story and highly recommend the series. Don't miss out on this book!!
