Another brilliant anthology from editor Mark Morris. I absolutely loved almost everything in this book. There's one in particular that scared me so much that I text others I knew that had read it for comfort. Highly recommended.
My favorite stories were “Midnight Disease” by CJ Leede (fucking love her) and “The Mummified Corpse of Reese Witherspoon” (lol great title) by Philip Fracassi. CJ’s story spoke to me on the deepest level as a woman who has chosen to not have kids. What a brilliant piece of work.
I really enjoyed this anthology overall, though there were two or three stories that I didn't get along with (they weren't bad, just not for me). I think I'm going to remember 'The Mummified Corpse of Reese Witherspoon' for a very long time! What an absolute gem!
This book is definitely for fans of the horror genre, some of the stories are terrifying. As a fan I can say this book does not disappointed. Well done to all the authors.
