The Keeper
**WARNING** Strong language and a cliffhanger. Family is the only thing that you have in this world. Sometimes you’re born into one and sometimes the craziest of characters come together and make one. But either way, when someone threatens to take it away, you do all you can to keep it. The Torres children were all each other had. Until someone decided to tear them apart, leaving young Leyla alone once again. To her, it seemed that love wasn’t meant to be in her life until she met him. There’s only one thing Zaire Hollis loved most in this world and that was his baby Nina. Out of all the females in the world, she was the only one that he knew had his back. He never went anywhere without her. She liked to kill. He liked to kill. They were two peas in a pod. There wasn’t a girl alive that could come close to his baby. At least that’s what he thought until he laid eyes her. She was like no girl he’d ever seen before. Her beauty, brains, and loyalty drew him in like a moth to a flame, but her heart is what made him stay. Everything was perfect for a while. He had his queen and she had her king, but like everything else in their lives, it didn’t last forever. Love, lust, and betrayal is always a part of the game, but what happens when everyone isn’t willing to play by the rules?

This story, goodness...what an amazing reality that we live today.
I want to first say, I'm allllll for a good hood romance, but I really appreciated that the main two characters didn't have the typical dope boy relationship. Now that I said that...
This book was simply a breath of fresh air, the love between Leyla and Zaire was simply for the history books. They were so together went from hero to friendship to love to....ohhh I can't ruin it!
I will say Brea. Smh. I have no idea what to do with him, I loved him in the beginning and was like "aww" then he did Lil sneaky stuff here and there, it all started to come together for me towards the end though, I felt soooo slow that I didn't catch it before. That ending though?! 😟😟😟😟
Ohhhh Harley Jay you KNOW YOURE WRONG FOR THIS!!! Lol. I want to know what this secret is? I seriously have no idea, you definitely can cover it good, but not to the point where it's annoying nd easy to read, no! You've completely baffled me.

Awesome read
This was a very interesting book. It kept my attention and I really like the characters and storyline. I love Zaire and Lee's relationship. He was always trying to protect her. Ready to read part 2 now. The only downside was the editing issues near the end of the book. Other than that it was a great and entertaining book.

Wow
I dont.know what made me pick this book up but I am happy I did. The twista ans turns of this book were amazing. There was never a dull moment, I hope every thing works out for both of the twins, i loved them! Worth the read.

Everything
This book is everything! From the very beginning it had my attention. Poor Leyla, just has bad luck all around her. Then when she is finally happy, that's taken away from her. Great read!!

So Entertaining
This story was so very well written. It's funny, dramatic and serious. The characters mix so well together which make story flow so nicely. Zayne and Granny will have you in tears. Granny has no filter whatsoever. Reading this you can really tell the author enjoyed writing. The characters terms felt really. The love between Leyla and Zaire was emotional and heart breaking. Brea is a prev, and I know he had a lot to do with Legend's demise. You can hear the sarcasm in the author during the narration. Leyla went through a lot in this story, family leaving her, her love leaving her. I knew she was smart and I can't wait for part to see how she gets back at the jerk who cost her her love.

Love it.
I need the next part. I usually try to wait till all parts of a book is out before I read them, but a friend suggested this book. So, I read it. I am glad I did. I hope the next part is coming soon. Great read. I know they better handle Brea and I mean quick like.
