Shadow Witch is an intelligent, well-written, beautiful gem of a book, and what comes through on every page is the author’s wonderful sense of humor, groundedness, sense of perspective, and the ability to keep it real in a genre where such qualities are as rare as manticores at Walmart. I’ve read this book several times now, more so for spiritual solace and for inspiration than for anything else. You won’t find fluff here, or sensationalism, or vicarious titillation, or LHP edge-lord posturing -- just good advice, common sense, a lot of heart, and a healthy dose of pure enchantment. Written from out of that fecundating depth of the imaginal wherein all authentic traditions meet and have their origin this book is not so much about magic as it is magic itself. On the surface it is, to be sure, a grimoire for the summoning of goetic spirits, but it is also a hypersigil, if you know how to use it as such, as well as a devotional offering to those spirits that gave it birth and whose presence and energetic signature is palpably felt throughout. If you can read between the lines you will know that the real treasures of Shadow Witch are Thalia's anecdotes, personal asides, and wonderful stories, as she relates her interactions with the daemons whose characteristics and qualities she so vividly describes. She is writing from a place that embodies the coming together of wisdom and understanding, as a practitioner of brujeria, and does her teachers proud. If you can meet her authenticity and integrity with your own power this book will give you wings.

An Absolutely Amazing Fountain Of Knowledge

"Shadow Witch: A Practical Guide to Demonic Witchcraft and Transformation" is an amazing book! Prior to reading this, I knew a little bit about demons and demonology. But I learned a LOT by reading this. I would readily advise anyone who is interested in this topic to do the same. I will be going back over this book - repeatedly - for reference, and will be adding things inspired by it to my own Book of Shadows.

This book is also incredibly well-written and well-edited. It's written in a very intelligent voice. I didn't spot a single typo anywhere within the text - which is highly unusual. My thanks to the author for all of her dedication and hard work on creating this project!

If you are seeking information on demons, or magickal dealings with demons, then you simply must read "Shadow Witch: A Practical Guide to Demonic Witchcraft and Transformation"!

I've been working magic since I was a child and teaching it professionally for the last decade. I also have some experience working with demons and have made quite a lot of progress in my life with their assistance. This book is a fantastic introduction to working with demons for those interested in taking their practice in this direction. It's not written for absolute beginners to the craft (really, what demonology book is?) but it does introduce the reader to a respectful and effective approach to demon magic. It's easy to understand and takes a very balanced view of both the risks and rewards of this work. I've already recommended this book to a few of my students and I'm sure I'll recommend it to plenty more!.
