There's a real need for a book that would help boards navigate the contemporary world. Unfortunately, this is not it.
There's nothing really wrong with it except a breathless style and fondness for coining meaningless phrases ("future-forward tech strategy", "exponential governance mindset"). It's a survey of current and possible future technologies and a bit about the business of technology. There are a lot of lists and not much analysis.
So, OK if you're not very familiar with all this, but I suspect most of the intended audience already knows most of what's between the covers.
