Burgandi’s affair was once a dangerous secret; now it’s her prison. As a consequence of her actions, she’s forced to launder dirty money through her business, for a brutal Mexican cartel. Every step Burgandi takes drags her deeper into the underworld, where one slip could cost her everything.
Thorne never promised love; yet he’s stuck in a game he didn’t ask to play. Lovie is pregnant; and while he’s not sure that the baby is his, she’s using that uncertainty to her advantage. Just when he thinks the storm is over, another one brews. One of his closest allies might be hiding more than just business ambitions. As buried desires surface, Thorne starts to realize that everything he once thought was solid is starting to crumble.
In this second installment, Burgandi is a prisoner in a life she no longer controls. Thorne is thrust into a war, while preparing for possibly the biggest change he’s ever experienced. Love, power and revenge collide. However, in the garden of life, not every flower blooms beautifully. Sometimes, a poisonous vine wraps around it and suffocates what was once pure.

This is a series review for books one through four. So we started with the introductory couple and that was the chef and her love interest and we got to know the supporting characters who are featured in the last what I assume will be three books of the series. There was definitely a lot of drama. The story moved very quickly, and just when you thought you knew who our character was they switched up on you. I definitely was not expecting the mail character in books 3 and four to evolve the way that he did. However, I will say that the red flags were there. And while I could definitely figure out who was doing what in books 3 and four, it was still a very fun dramatic feel ride to get to each cliffhanger in those books. I can’t wait to see the Thorne in Crypt’s side.
Baby the way you are questioning things in book two and start to see how everything is going up in smoke. When Burgandi and Thorne cross paths, their shared love for floristry sparks an undeniable connection. The man’s grandmother’s legacy being burned down to a baby momma from hell and a dude once you boy by association is now the op and you don’t know why nor could care less about for who. Oh and let’s not forget the pictures fake trip and then being passed off to another man to pay a debt. We knew Cyrpt was a piece of work but I didn’t think he would be so low with it. Burgandi pissed me off because girl open your mouth and say something even if it just to your best friend and hell dont you think Thorne needs to know what the hell you have/had going on if full detail before all of this. I swear the best friends all needed to talk to get Burgandi and Thorne all the way together all while helping get Crypt out the way. This cliffhanger was not good for my health
This series just keep getting better. Even though Burgundy is keeping a secret I never imagined Crypt to do her that way, she has been there during his struggles of abuse from his sister, to allowing him to have in way sexually if he didn't want her or didn't love her any more he should have just walked away allowing her to figure things out. Now he has added Throne into it and I have a feeling there's more to this man than he is letting on, can't wait until the next book.
Wow! I neva thought Crypt would turn out to be such a monster! However Im not surprised! So his business is doing bad and now he needs to yse Burgandi's business to launder money and for a dangerous cartel!! Then to top it off he pimps her out! He's actually blackmailing his own wife! And this hoe Lovie tried to play Thorne and Gritty!! I knew he made a big mistake by not wearing a condom! Looking forward to next installment!
Life isn’t all about money and glimmer, once you receive the gift of your dream. You find yourself lonely in a home not receiving the love you desire. The Enemy of your enemy is your friend using your wits will have you deep in the Atlantic Ocean trying to gasp air.
Where is the to be continued lol. I need the next book asap. I need the cartel to get Crypt asap. This book had my nerves rattled lol. I need Thorne to come out on top. Spawn needs to find out what all Crypt has going on with the business.
Please don't let this series end like this. I need to read about Crypt's downfall because I know it's going to happen. I need Burgandi and Thorne to end up together finally. I'm patiently waiting...
I really can't stand Crypt. He is a sick man. He messed up all the hard work that Spawn put into Blue Net. I hope Thorne is his match. Burgandi should have gone in another direction instead of messing with Crypt. Great Read!
Aight honey now. You gon stop leaving me bout to have a dang heart attack! Ima need to go head and get this done so we can see this is through! Cuz baby...
Lawd Burgundy had me Fd up with her decisions since book 1 Private Chef 😒. I was interested to know what the dynamic would’ve been if Spawn found out about Crypt.
