DREW WORSHAM is a world-renowned illusionist, speaker, and storyteller. Drew has a unique gift of “inspiring curiosity” and is sought out by some of the world’s biggest brands, nonprofits, and influential leaders. He has also spent the past 20+ years as a local pastor and church planter.
When he’s not on the road, he is in San Antonio being the private chef, coffee maker and dance party curator for his wife, Jane, and their two kids, Tilly and Linden.
I very much appreciated the premise of this book: that curiosity is what allows for innovation, connection, and growth. The way he broke this into different spheres of life and gave examples and practical tips of what cultivating curiosity could look like in each area (relationships, careers, everyday life, etc.) was helpful and I could see myself referencing back to it in the future. However, in spite of loving the idea and the practical tips, I found each chapter to feel very repetitive, which made it a harder book for me to get through (hence the 3 star rating). Worth a read or at least a skim, and definitely helpful as a reference book for the future, but not my favorite stand alone book.
Drew has such a charming way of drawing his readers in. You are immediately hooked on the personal stories and simple solutions for your own life. You will walk away from this book more curious than ever and transfixed by the world God has created around us.
Meeting Drew Worsham was one of those things that shifted my perspective on life and made me more excited to be alive and experience the beauty of my faith. I am grateful that he signed this book, I'm grateful to have picked his brain, and I'm grateful to to have read this book.
Got pretty repetitive toward the end, but I really enjoyed the message of the book. One I plan to go back through and figure out practical ways to implement in my life
