Soldier's Fake Fiancée

Rate this book

This military mechanic can fix anything, except his own broken heart…

Beau Wilson’s past is littered with mistakes. But he has two things going for him—the know-how that only an Army-trained mechanic can boast, and his fierce, funny, four-year-old daughter Zandy. Between his two good things, this single dad figures he has the skills and the motivation to make it in his dream job at a repair shop, and give little Zandy the life she deserves.

So, when his mom tells him she’s retiring and leaving him the Christmas tree farm that’s been in the Wilson family for generations, he can see his dreams falling apart before his eyes.

Quinn Allen loves helping living things grow. She’s been saving forever, but she’ll probably never have enough to buy a farm of her own, so running the Wilson Tree Farm is the next best thing. But now the owner’s son is home and the handsome single dad doesn’t even seem to appreciate the incredible gift he’s about to get.

When the two realize that they might both be able to follow their dreams—but only if everyone thinks they’re getting married—it feels like they just might have the perfect solution to all their problems.

A fake engagement seems so simple—at first.

But what happens if one of them doesn’t have a gift for lying?

And what if Beau realizes Quinn might just be the third good thing in his life?

As unwanted feelings start to crop up on the farm, the whole plan is thrown into chaos. It just might take a Christmas miracle (and the wisdom of a four-year-old) to bring this pretend family a very real happily-ever-after.

Trinity Falls Sweet Romance is all about finding family – one clean & wholesome romance at a time. The Trinity Falls Sweet Home for Christmas series celebrates a group of men coming home to a small Pennsylvania town at Christmastime, and finding love and meaning in the season.

Beau Wilson is back at home, after he served his country for years. Now he has to tend to his little daughter, Zandy, while his ex wife follows her own dreams. Quinn Allen works at the Wilson Christmas Tree farm, but now that the owner is back she knows she has to leave everything to him, little does she know that he wants to be a mechanic. When they tell each other their real ambitions, they can only think to one solution: they'll get married, so Quinn becomes an Allen and can keep the farm in the family and Beau will be free to buy his car repair shop. Nothing can go wrong until feelings get involved.

Quinn, my shy girl, I'm so glad you've found your place in the world, opening up with the "your" people that brought you a lot of joy. Beau is kind and gentle, and a great dad. At the beginning they think to be too different to click, and I adored to see how much they were wrong because their relationship proves to be easy and comfortable.

I feel like I love Clara Pines books more every time I read a new one. Her writing just resonates within me, and her stories end to put a smile on my face.
I highly recommend to read Soldier's Fake Fiancée, a nice and enjoyable story.

After a failed marriage and now out of the military, Beau Wilson returns home to Trinity Falls with his young daughter, Zandy. He is staying on the family ranch that they owned for generations. All he’s ever wanted was to be a mechanic. He was trained in the army. He applied for a job at a mechanic shop in town since Quinn Allen is managing the Wilson Christmas Tree Farm. Everything is running smoothly, so why change it. Quinn has always wanted to run a farm. She’s happy there. Will she have to step aside for the owner’s son? Beau’s mother tells him and Quinn that she’s ready to step back and let him run it. He’s disappointed but will do it for her. Quinn and Beau sit down and discuss the operations of the farm when he makes a business proposition to Quinn. Get married and she will be a Wilson, so it will stay in the family and she will continue to run and manage it. He would get to buy the mechanic shop, since the owner offered it to him first, with her help. They’ll both get what they want. One year later, they can divorce. Can they pull it off? What happens when they spend a lot of time together? They enjoy each other’s company. Zandy has taken to Quinn. Will someone get hurt? Have they thought that far ahead? This couple deserves to have a second chance at love and family. Will they get it? Will they walk away after a year? It’s Christmas time, so maybe there will be magic and miracles. The characters are wonderful. I couldn’t help but to root for Beau, Quinn and precious Zandy. Worth the read. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily

Soldier's Fake Fiancée: Trinity Falls Sweet Romance - Home for Christmas - Book 3
In past books we have been introduced to the Wilson Christmas tree farm in Trinity Falls. After high school Beau Wilson went into the military and was deployed overseas. When he was released from the military he went home to Trinity Falls. His ex wife wants a career as a chef and turns over parenting their 4 year old daughter, Zandy, to him. He really only knew his daughter by FaceTime once a week conversations with Zandy but loves her deeply. He wants to be a good dad to her. Quinn Allen is a young woman who knew him in high school but went on to college to get a degree in Agriculture. She dearly loves farming and is now the Wilson Christmas tree farm manager. Life has a way of messing up our plans for the future sometimes even when we have a strong passionate desire and skills to accomplish it. Beau and Quinn have plans for their lives. As always I enjoyed reading another of Ms Pines’ books, and recommend this series and this book in the series. You will love it too. I didn’t want it to end.

Beau has come home and is so ready to be out of the military. He is excited about being home, being a dad full time to his daughter Zandy as his ex is off fulfilling her career dreams. Beau is looking to further his desire to be a mechanic. Quinn has been running the Wilson Christmas Tree farm and is hesitant knowing Beau has returned and is expected to take over the farm management. When Beau’s mother decides to retire and then the town mechanic shop comes up for sale. Beau casually mentions a fake engagement and wedding to solve both their problems. They will get married and she gets the farm and he gets the shop. Enter problems galore especially when Beau realizes his daughter loves the farm and the trees as much as Quinn. As the wedding draws near they both realize that more is at stake. Quinn calls the wedding off and Beau doesn’t know what to do as he realizes he loves her and doesn’t want to lose her. Zandy and Beau’s mom as well as Quinn’s family all step in and they all get their Christmas wishes. Well written and a great book you don’t want to miss. 5+ stars.

The queen of Christmas small town romance has another heartwarming story. Beau has returned home from serving his country with skills to be a mechanic. Also learning to be a single parent with the help of his mom. His dreams of working in an auto repair shop may never come to fruition. His mom has gifted him the Christmas tree farm and plans to retire. Since his father’s death Quinn has been running the farm and excelling in it as that is her passion. But what if?
Shy Quinn is worried that now that Beau is back her job will be in jeopardy. All she ever wanted was to farm the land and she really has the knack for it. When Beau proposes a crazy idea that would make both their dreams come true is she brave enough to go for it?
Thank you to the author for this ARC. As usual a sweet novella that will warm your heart. All opinions expressed are mine and mine alone. #SoldiersFakeFiancee

This is such a fabulous series and I have loved each and every book. Trinity Falls is a small town that has the most kind hearted residents who are always willing to help each other and when Beau makes a business proposition to Quinn that will benefit them both it seems that all will be well. They share a fake romance but soon they both realise that they actually do have feelings for each other and Quinn decides that she cannot pretend to be in a relationship that might see them hurt, but especially Beau’s daughter Zandy. Beau quickly realises he does not want to be without Quinn and does all he can to prove to her that his feelings are genuine and they are together for the right reasons. The characters were all wonderful and the story is so lovely and enjoyable. Can’t wait for the next book.

When faking it becomes all to real

Beau doesn’t think he’s worthy of Quinn. Quinn knows she’s not much but Beau and his little girl seem to be exactly what her life’s been missing. When the best laid plans start to unravel and a simple business arrangement gets very complicated, Beau and Quinn must be willing to risk more than their dream businesses to find happiness.
I love this small town series. The people are colorful and interesting. They are all people I would like to have dinner with and get to know better.
Once again, the child tried to steal the show but she had some competition with Beau’s mom who added so much to the story. In the end, Beau and Quinn definitely proved to be the stars of the story.
This is a great story for readers of all ages and can be enjoyed any time of year.

This is a beautiful story. It's well written with very likable characters who evoke a world of feelings. Quinn is smart and hardworking, and she knows just what she wants - her own farm.  She's so happy working on the tree farm. Beau knows what he wants too, and it's to not work on the tree farm. Instead, he's a good mechanic and he's longing to have his own shop. The two of them concoct a scheme to help each other get what they want, a fake marriage. I love the change in their relationship, as they realize that a fake marriage isn't the solution, since they've actually fallen for each other.  Little Zandy, Beau's adorable daughter, helps things along. Her relationship with Quinn is really sweet. The story is a page-turner and leaves you with a very happy feeling.

5 Star review Soldier's Fake Fiancée (Trinity Falls Sweet Romance - Home for Christmas -
#3) by Clara Pines

Trinity Falls is my happy place. This is single dad to 4 year old daughter Zandy, Beau Wilson and Quinn Allen’s story and it was a heartwarming read.

When Beau’s mother decides to retire and leave the running of the family Christmas Tree farm to him he is in a quandary. He had his own plans and this wasn’t in it.

Quinn currently manages the farm and she is disappointed when Beau comes home to run things.

Embarking on a fake engagement these two have no idea of what is about to change their lives.

Soldier's Fake Fiancée ticked all the boxes. It was an entertaining, well written story that had me smiling throughout.

Another wonderful book in this series. The time around Christmas is just pure magic and this book is a great example. I loved Beau's little girl Zandy. Zandy has a unique personality that she owns and I love. This may be set up as a fake engagement arrangement so both characters can live out their dreams, but there is no denying the deep connection that forms. I love how much Quinn loves the Christmas tree farm. Working the land is in her blood. This book to me is a beautiful story. I loved the characters so much and were such a joy to read. There is plenty of heart and feels. A reason why I loved books by Clara Pines because she puts so much heart into her books. If you are fan of this series then you will fall in love with this book just as I have done!

Wonderful addition to the Home for Christmas series by Clara Pines.
Enjoyed reading this sweet story.
This is Quinn’s chance to run the Christmas tree farm.
Beau is a single dad just back from the Army and the boss’s son. What Quinn doesn’t know is that he isn’t interested in running the farm, he’s a born mechanic.
She wants the farm that needs to stay in the family, he wants the mechanic shop in town. Why not get married? “We’ll both be happy because we’ll be doing what we love.” Seems like the perfect answer!

I am really enjoying this series. Being young during the Vietnam era, my returning friends didn’t quite receive a hero’s welcome. I love that the soldiers are honored and helped to return to civilian life. Beau is faced with a real issue, to be able to do what he loves or to keep the family business going. The Christmas tree farm has been in his family for generations although it isn’t his passion. Quinn loves farming and even the bookkeeping side of the business. The real story is can they each get what they want to be happy?

Amazing book!

I really enjoyed this beautiful story of love developing between two people that seemed unalike but really had the same heart. I loved that they both wanted to help each other achieve their dreams. Zandy is absolutely adorable and I love the flower girl! Superhero that she got to be.

Beau Wilson and Quinn Allen, two people born and raised in Trinity Falls but their lives were not turning out exactly the way they thought they should.

Beau had left the Christmas Tree farm that had been in the family for generations to serve in the Army. He was expected to follow in their footsteps when he returned but his heart and mind were elsewhere, having a repair shop. The funds though were not there, instead he had been focused on serving and making sure his 4 year old daughter had everything she needed.

Quinn has always had a love for farm life from being outside to watching things grow. But her parents sold the family farm and the only option she had was running the Wilson Christmas Tree farm was Beau was gone. Quinn was saving up but was it enough to buy the farm? It wasn’t but it was enough to buy the repair shop in town that Beau wanted. What would happen if they reached an agreement, get married for a year, he gets the repair shop and she gets the farm. It’s a win, win situation right? What they were not expecting though was their fake love to actually work out to be true love. Would they be able to work it all out or were some hearts going to be broken?

I am not sure how Clara Pines is able to do it every single time with her books but she does. She captures your attention with good clean romance set in a small town, during the holidays and allows you to escape the outside for a little while. I stumbled across her books by accident one day and since then cannot wait for the next one to come out. It in a way reminds me of some of the teenage romance books we had growing up in the 80s

PS I still have a few of those very read teenage romance books from back then on my bookshelf.

Thanks to 1852 Media and the author for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

This reader found the storyline to be very heartwarming and emotional. The author gave us great characters, one of which is a very precocious 2 ½ year old girl. Beau has recently returned home to Trinity Fall after his tour in the army. He has come home because his father recently passed away and his mom needs help with the tree farm. Not to mention his ex has left to pursue her dreams and left the daughter with Beau and his mom. Needless to say, Beau has some big adjustments to make. Not only learning to be a single dad but also to run a Christmas Tree farm, which is something he is just not interested in. His personal dream is to be a mechanic and one day own his own shop. When he arrives home however, he meets up with Quinn, the manager his father hired to run the tree farm. But the woman he meets isn’t the same, shy, fluster girl he remembers from high school. Quinn has always wanted to own and run her own farm since she was a kid. She even went to college for agriculture. Running the Wilson’s tree farm has been a dream come true. But with Beau coming home, she knows her time on the farm is coming to an end, as he’ll take over running the place. Both are about to lose the chance at fulfilling their dreams. But what if they could hatch a plan for both of them to get what they want? Can they do it without hurting the ones they love and care about?

Such an amazing, heartwarming storyline that is chalked full of smiles, laughs, romance and even a few tears. I can’t recommend it enough. In fact if you haven’t read Ms. Pines Trinity Falls series (the original and its spin off), you are truly missing out. As for this reader I can’t wait to see what happens next in the small, christmas time town of Trinity Falls.

We are back in Trinity Falls where two individuals concoct a plan in order to benefiting them both.
Beau Wilson is out of the service. Now that the mother of his daughter Zandy is away pursuing her dreams, he’s determined to be the best dad ever to his sweet and energetic child. He also plans to fulfill his dream of working at the local auto shop with the intention of eventually owning one himself.
Meanwhile, Quinn Allen has been managing the Wilson family Christmas tree farm. She loves the farm as if it were her own. Especially, since owning her own farm is an impossible dream.
But when Beau’s mom decides to turn over the farm that has been in the Wilson family for years, to Beau, Beau and Quinn see their dreams going up in smoke.
A plan is put in place in which both benefit. A plan that has them engaged, marrying and dissolving the marriage in a year. Leaving one with a garage and the other with a farm.
But what happens when feelings develop. Feelings that neither confesses? Can they continue deceiving themselves and others without being devastated and without their dreams being fulfilled?
I was entrusted a of this book by 1852 Media. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Solder's Fake Fiancee is about a guy named Beau Wilson whose parents ran a Christmas tree farm. He was a single father to a cute four-year-old named Zandy. Zandy's mother was away assisting a famous chef on a boat. Her mother knew that was her passion, not living in a small town working on a Christmas tree farm. So she asked Beau to take care of her daughter so she could pursue her passion.

Quinn was a local girl who worked for his families Christmas tree farm; she was very much into nurturing the seedlings and watching the Christmas trees grow. She was running the tree farm for about a year, and she assumed that would come to an end soon, as their son Beau was coming home from the military to take over. Quinn continued to work on the farm & become friends with Beau and his daughter Zandy. They put a plan together so both of them could do what they loved. The story basically goes into the trials and tribulations of raising a little one, family issues, and how, sometimes, love happens in the most unconventional ways. It's a good book if you're into romance. *I received this as an ARC reader and am leaving my unbiased review.

Soldier's Fake Fiancee is a wonderful read. I loved this so much. Beau is back home and is a single dad who is a fantastic mechanic but set to inherit his family's Christmas tree farm. I love his relationship with his daughter so much. Little Zandy will put a smile on your face. Quinn has her dream job of running the Christmas tree farm. She loves her work but is left wondering what she's going to do if Beau takes over the farm. I love the chemistry build between Quinn and Beau as they work together on a plan that gives them both what they want. I love how Quinn in with Zandy. She is so sweet with her and embraces all that is Zandy. You feel the attraction build between Beau and Quinn even if they think they are pulling off the fake engagement. I could not put this down. Beau and Quinn are amazing as feelings come out. I cannot wait for more to come in the Home for Christmas series. Go one click this today.

Beau and Quinn's fake relationship starts just like any other fake relationship; they decide to get married in order to make their dreams come true. But when you spend time together, you tend to forget that everything is not real and soon, feelings start to take over, and both are unsure if they should continue with the scheme.

However, fresh love is determined to show our lovebirds that they are perfect for each other in every way. With the help of family and one adorable little girl, our main characters walk off into the sunset, happy together.

I've become a huge fan of Clara Pines in the short time since i started reading her books and with each my love for her writing continues. I hope she never stops delivering new couples for me to love.
