I finally was able to read this beyond sweet and drama story and the only reason I didn’t finish it in one sitting is because of a much needed nap after traveling. I loved the second chance that Fleurine and Raoul had as well as the drama!

The H is a triplet and one of 6 children of a billionaire who is being stalked by h’s dad for over 10 years to ensure he doesn’t contact anyone from his family. The h escapes and goes on to become a software engineer but goes on to pine for H after having experienced one kiss as a teenager and declaring her love. The h’s mom testifies against her husband for a crime he committed 30 years ago where he set fire to monks along with his friends but has been silent as she was scared and allowed herself to be blackmailed into marriage.
This plot gives any soap opera a run for its money with its insanely over the top dramatic hijinks.

Wow! This was dreadful. Stilted, awkward, over-the-top melodramatic. It's a 1980's telenova wannabe. I can only assume it was a reject from back in the day, and now they're trotting it out because she's a big name. Yuck! I won't read the other two books in this series. The descriptions sounded OK, but so did this one. It's a shame, Rebecca Winters published some good books in the late 90's and early 2000's. I will stick with her earlier works. Beware!
