SUMMARY: At bedtime, Lottie's mom reads a book about animals to her. The next day, Lottie is inspired to pretend to be different animals, all of which say, "roar." But by evening, Lottie becomes a cranky roaring crocodile. In order to shake off the crannies, Lottie turns back into herself.

ILLUSTRATIONS: The illustrations were created in paint and colored pencil. They are colorful, simple enough for the little ones, and fun.

REVIEW: This was a delightful story with play along potential. Your child can roar alongside Lottie as she changes from one animal to another. I'm not sure why every animal says "roar," but you can certainly play with the correct animal sounds as well.

AGE RECOMMENDATION: Ages 3-7

Think we read the British version called “Rah!”? I like RAH more as it sounds like my own toddler. Really lovely book which said toddler enjoyed!
