I love the sound of vintage drums, clyde stubblefeild is one of the pillars of early hip hop his drums go unheralded in a massive amount of hip hop classics. nowadays hip hop is so clean and digified it has no soul. J zone was the reason i got this book as well as a vintage snare drum to "play" with, i sample it into my maschine mk2 just to feel like im the shit..lol
