“She wanted to scream, to cry for help, to shoo them away, but her fear kept her frozen.”

I’ve read this story before but when Jason told me that Carietta narrated the audiobook and offered me a code, I jumped on that asap. I’m not typically an audiobook person, but I’ve heard Carietta do different voices etc, and knew she would be perfect for this story. And I was right AF. 🤌🏼

The story on its own is a great one. I’m a huge fan of anything Jason writes. And I’ve been loving the short stories to sprinkle in here and there in between novels. But the audiobook REALLY made this story come alive in the best way possible!!

Not only am I excited to see what else Jason has in store for us on the writing front, I’m equally excited to see Carietta narrating books because she nailed it. She really freaking did.

Like I said, I’m not typically an audible gal… but this one was fantastic and I highly recommend!!

I was sent a code for the audiobook version of this story and I really enjoyed it. Carietta truly brought this story to life. This was short and wonderfully written. The transitions from present to past was done very well. This story follows a husband and wife who get into a wreck and there’s a strange creature lurking around. Filled with twists and turns this was a hauntingly good read!
