Early Intervention Basics: Birth to 12 Months

Rate this book
This book was created by a pediatric physical therapist to describe the basic milestones in each of the five areas of development from birth to twelve months, along with strategies to help your baby achieve these milestones. The areas of development include motor skills (both fine and gross motor), adaptive or self-help skills, cognitive skills, communication skills, and social skills. The motor area is defined in greater detail, but all areas are described and activities and ideas on how to help your baby develop these skills are outlined in simple terms. This book is appropriate for parents, teachers, therapists, and students.

Hello and welcome!

I am a pediatric physical therapist and a multiple award winning author. I work with children ages 0-3 and write about everything. My first novel, The Club, is a crime fiction and my second, A Rose For Jonathan, is a Christian fiction and has been awarded the New Apple Award for Excellence in Independent Publishing for the Spirituality/ Religion category, a Finalist in the NEIA, and a bronze medal in the Religion category of the Readers' Favorite Book Awards. The sequel, Quiver, is now out as well. I keep my writing clean and I love to add twists. I hope that you will let me know what you think about my work and look forward to hearing from you!
