Un Gil Kane pletórico ilustra una serie de historias que van de lo anecdótico (casi todos los cruces con Alan Scott), a lo histórico (la primera aparición de Guy Gardner... ya me diréis si eso no es un hito), pasando por las aventuras olvidables pero entretenidas que son la tónica del tomo. No nos engañemos: aquí Broome, Fox y el resto de guionistas son unos secundones, porque la estrella es Kane, sobre todo cuando se entinta a sí mismo, pero cuidado, que Sid Greene tampoco desmerece, dotando a los lápices del gran artista letón de unas ricas texturas que llegan a realzar el magnífico trazo de este. Los cruces con Flash y Batman... olvidables, pese a Carmine Infantino en el primero. Yo preferiría que, a no ser que sean imprescindibles, se olvidaran de cruces en estos volúmenes, pero bueno, es lo que hay.

Venga, más Gil Kane, por favor...

A really solid entertaining continuation from the death of the Green Lantern finest. The last issue by Mike Freidrich was also very good and I guess is a sign of things to come for the next volume where Green Lantern teams up with Green Arrow. Highly recommended.

The insane amount of powers he had in this era. The ability to erase minds, to shrink himself down to the subatomic level, to disguise himself as any other person, to duplicate himself, teleportation, and time travel. Probably for the best that they nerfed him down.
