It’s surreal to read a book in which you’re mentioned by name a handful of times, but this compact and compelling history of VPAP is worth a read for anyone interested in Virginia politics. David is self reflective of his leadership of building an indispensable organization, and I also really like how he adds current political context alongside the history of the organization. Hard to put down, and I don’t think that’s because I spent a year on the team.
