It's Wifey Over Everything

Rate this book
While money can change the behavior of some, that wasn't the case for Prosper's husband, Mozart Saint Rome. He went from being a bag chaser to a millionaire, rising up from the streets of Louisiana. Their rags-to-riches story inspires some, but it also leaves others envious of their success. Mozart's millionaire status didn't happen overnight; it took years of late nights, early mornings, and countless trials and errors for him to become the provider he was raised to be. However, in Prosper's eyes, his neglect became too much, leading her to file for divorce. Unlike Mozart, Prosper is eager to dive into the dating pool. In just a few weeks, she meets a popular bodyguard named Storge Comeaux, who gives her hope that love still exists. Although Prosper is infatuated with Storge, her friends and family can't help but notice his troubling red flags. This includes Mozart, who is slowly becoming bitter, in Prosper's view. When Prosper can no longer overlook Storge's irrational behavior, it may already be too late. Now that she has officially pushed Mozart out of her life, will he once again neglect Prosper? Or will the millionaire mogul show Prosper that it’s still wifey over everything?

Hmmm. I liked the premise of the story, the concept of the villains and conflict. The story was moderately paced. The style of storytelling tended to be a bit disjointed and the characters didn’t appear to have any chemistry. However, I still wanted to see how the couple would find their way back to each other. Granted I didn’t want them too. That being said, I hope you will take time to read and provide your own review. Happy reading!

I am not sure WHO the guy on the cover is, but he is definitely not the man described between the pages of this book. MMC nor the villain. I think this author did themselves a huge disservice with their art in this case.

However, if cutting off your nose to spite, your face was a person that wasthe FMC in this book. That being said I was lowkey side eyeing everyone.

The timeline was crazy, but the way her family turned on her was even crazier.

Lord, the drama!

Good

Absolutely the best standalone I’ve read so far. I love Mozart but Prosper was wrecking my nerves. I would love a book about Milla finding her love. Awesome job Ms. Comeaux.
