I approached Beyond Booked Solid with high expectations, having enjoyed Michael Port’s earlier book, Book Yourself Solid. Unfortunately, I found this follow-up less engaging and not quite what I was looking for. While Booked Solid was a practical guide for building a fully booked business, Beyond Booked Solid shifts focus to scaling and systematizing a business once you've reached that point—a stage I wasn’t ready for or particularly interested in.
To be fair, Beyond Booked Solid is well-written, and Port provides solid advice for readers who want to scale their business while maintaining control and balance. The principles of sustainable growth, vision-driven decision-making, and leveraging systems are undoubtedly helpful for those at the right stage of their entrepreneurial journey. However, for someone hoping for more of the foundational, client-centered strategies found in Booked Solid, this book may not hit the mark.

I took a lot of notes while reading this book. More so than usual when reading this type of book. I look forward to implementing several of the ideas that Michael Port explores here.

Not my kind of book this. None of the concepts or ideas resonated and i couldn't get past the intro. Shame, given it was a present from the author...

didn't like it as much as book yourself solid. the part about hobbies and prioritizing is good, but a lot of it just seems scattered and not helpful.
