Okay, How much time you got to read this review? No matter what this man has been through, he TRULY remains on top in my top 3 splatterpunk authors of all time. Gaynor & xochitl have my f*cking heart! Heather and Ingrid can f*ck off and Ember is just in all the wrong places ...just...ALL of the time! That being said, I am not used to seeing Bateman on such an intimate level in his writing. This was a very welcomed concept. Not only does he make you gag in this story with the blood, guts, and extreme and violent gore (which is what all us Splatter lovers crave), but he touches on actual LOVE. 🤯🤯🤯 Touches on blossoming love and relationships. He takes splatterpunk into a whole ass genre of itself IMO....can there be Smut Splatterpunk on this level? I always seek out Splatterpunk novellas and novels in the form of Harware Tony and nothing more but this was AMAZING! Best splatterpunk of the year so far and SO HAPPY and grateful to be one of the first to read it. So proud of Otis and this is definitely your best work yet. I can only imagine it will continue to get better.
Side note: Thanks for the add of the GenZ slang definitions. I knew most but there were a couple. Haha

This book has more than enough gore and depravity to satisfy your twisted mind, but can you handle a blossoming love story too??? Expect deeper characterization from Otis, extreme humor, so many easter eggs, and if you’ve seen the original video this book is based on, Otis obviously made the sequel much “better” lol. Loved it and got my friend to read it as his first entry into extreme horror…would he love it or unfriend me?!? (He loved it!!!) 🖤😈🪓

I have no words, this book was definitely one of the nastiest, disgusting and vile books that I have ever read, and I LOVED IT. If you don’t already know by what the title is then this is not the book for you. Or is blew this one out of the park, definitely my fave of his books.

What can I say about this newest offering from Otis Bateman. Not enough to do it justice that is for sure. It has everything one could ask for in a novel such as this. Humor (albeit extremely dark), gore, gore, gore, and even things that are so vile I cannot put into words.
The social commentary regarding social media influencers and what people will do for their own 15 minutes of fame is also there.
If you have a strong stomach, familiar with the seedier side of internet lore, what are you waiting for? Get this right now and read it. You won't be disappointed.

DNF page 57.
The language in this made me cringe so hard. There is not a single sentence without at least 3 fucks and a shit in it. This gets old and boring very very fast. To me this seems like lazy writing.
On top of that the overuse of the language kids these days use( its mid bitch, they slay, no cap) already pisses me off so bad when i hear People irl say it i wanna slap them, and this book is full of that.
Im not against gore, and nasty stuff. And if otis would have chilled on the use of words like bitch,shit and fuck, maybe this book wouldnt read like a edgy 12 y old wrote it.
