Devil’s Hope was a fun and surprisingly tense read. I really liked how New Orleans was used - it felt alive without being over-described. Cassielle is easy to root for, and the supernatural elements with the Loa spirits were interesting without being confusing. The story moves quickly, has a few good twists, and keeps me wanting to see what happened next. Overall, it’s a solid urban fantasy with a cool atmosphere.
