Savage Proposal - Book 1 - Sparking hot and bright

Savage Proposal is the first book in the Vitali Mafia Duet. The story is about Isabella Rossi and Lorenzo Vitali. Be prepared as this book does end with a cliffhanger that is continued in the second book, Savage Claim. Lorenzo is cold, hard, calculating, intense and so sexy all wrapped up in muscles and tattoos. When Isabella's father has a debt to pay he sells her to Lorenzo. This is not what she wants in any way, as she knows about Lorenzo's reputation and what may be demanded of her. Lorenzo is "happy" to have Isabella as his. He has plans and that includes needed a male heir to take over his empire in the future. But with Isabella it also brings back painful memories that are just under the surface. He will do anything needed to make sure history does not repeat itself with Isabella. These two have a back and forth that sparks hot and bright between them. Those sparks will lead to something unexpected. But can they really have a future or will it only be an agreement between them?

Isabella meets Lorenzo when he is in the emergency room and thinks he is a patient. However, he wastes no time kidnapping her because of her father's debt. Everyone sees how much she looks like Lorenzo's deceased wife and makes comments to him when Isabella can't hear. He tells her if she becomes his surrogate that will clear the debt, and she agrees. Yet its not long before things get very real between them. Things get complicated when she learns that she looks like his deceased wife and ends up in a dangerous situation. Can she get herself out safely? What will Lorenzo do once he realizes she is gone/

WARNING! This ends with a cliff hanger that will have you screaming.

This is a great story that once you start it you won't want to put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Spicy, vicious and dark, this graphic mafia story gripped me from the start. Lorenzo’s grief over the murder of his first wife molds him into a merciless, unfeeling man who gets whatever he wants. I loved seeing his closed off heart thaw as his obsession with Isabella grows. Isabella’s character stays strong and determined, and her constant defiance of Lorenzo creates scintillating tension between them that leads to some truly hot scenes. The plot twists and turns keeps the pace moving, and I felt the emotional turmoil these added to the story especially near the end. I’m so happy I was immediately able to start Savage Claim after the cliffhanger ending and continue with the Vitali’s story.

When Lorenzo's wife was murdered in there own home and in there own bed.. by one of his own men.. Vowing he will Never fall in love again.. That is till Lorenzo goes to claim a debt that is owed, and instead of said man paying the debt with cash, he offers up his daughter in exchange. When Lorenzo comes face to face with Isabella, it's almost like time has reversed and he is looking in the eyes of his beloved.

I looooved the connection that Isabella and Lorenzo had. I hope we get more from the next book.. as this does end on a cliffy..

He is the Don of the Vitali Mafia who purchases Isabelle to cover a debt. Lorenzo had given up on love when his wife died and only wanted Isabel to be a surrogate for his heir. What starts off as an agreement turns to something more between them. It is filled with twists and turns that had me connecting with the characters and as it unfolds and told from different POV.

DNF at 60 ish percent. I found these characters to be entirely unlikeable and confusing. They were fighting and then in the next chapter the FMC is mounting the MMC basically in public with no resolution of the previous conflict? I'm all for suspending reality in books but this just wan't for me.
