Sophie Davis never imagined she'd have to endure watching her mate cheating on her. On what was supposed to be the happiest day of her life, she couldn't even blink before the unimaginable happened. Sophie didn't know how to go on after losing everything, and the one she loved more than anything completely betraying her. The only thing she was sure about was that forgiveness for her once beloved mate wasn't possible. Austin Daniels regretted the night that led to losing Sophie Davis more than anything else in the entire world. While he vowed he'd stop at nothing to win his mate back, the Alpha of his rival pack was suddenly taking an interest in her. Sophie's forgiveness would prove to take more than Austin ever knew he was willing to give.
I've read a lot of werewolf books and this one is very different from the norm. Yes, he cheated, but is there more to the story than meets the eye? You'll find out as you read. Be prepared for plot twists. Be careful judging friend from foe. And don't be surprised if you find yourself switching sides... more than once.
🤔 OBSERVATIONS 🤔
... Gaps need to be filled. We know what happened to Austin but never find out about Matthew or Ashley.
... I keep wondering why the 'wolf' in the human body is so gullible?
... This is a quick read, almost too quick. It needs more development, more depth in certain areas.
... Why the cliffhanger ending? Is there a sequel coming or is this novella going to be part of a series?
...I understand some foul language but never understand using the Creator's name in vain.
This book is a must read if you’re into romance and fantasy. The authors complex characters and intense plot twists were very captivating. It weaves together romance and suspense, which kept me intrigued. The characters struggles felt incredibly real, which really made me get lost in the story. I’d say it was worth the read.
Short book with a cliffy at the end, the book doesn’t just end in a cliffy, it literally ends mid paragraph it feels like. I didn’t like the MFC in this book or the second part of it (ignighted) I feel this is a writer who could be new to publishing and writing. Overall, no issues with grammar or spelling and the plot line stays on course. For me it was very mediocre
