From Bonnie Blanco, the author who brought you Taken By The King Of Dallas, comes a sizzling new installment of drama, secrets, and heartbreak.
Jream’s world shattered the day the secrets spilled and the lies unraveled. She had always felt Logic was hiding something, but nothing could have prepared her for the storm that came knocking. Betrayal doesn’t just hurt—it changes you. And for Jream, it was the kind of hurt that forced her to walk away, even though every step burned.
Logic’s world fell apart the moment she left. The one person who kept him grounded was gone, and his life crumbled in her absence. Taking losses left and right, he couldn’t stop the chaos from closing in. Then came Menace. A rival who moved like a shadow, one who had no problem stirring the pot by pursuing Jream—right under Logic’s nose. Logic knew one Menace had to go. For good.
In a world where friendships break, trust is scarce, and drama waits around every corner, everyone’s playing a dangerous game. Will Jream find the strength to move on? Will Logic fight to get her back? Or will the shadows of betrayal and revenge consume them both?
If you love BBW romance layered with drama, sizzling secrets, and suspense that keeps you guessing, “Come Get Your Clothes Out My House 2” will have you flipping pages and gripping your seat until the very last word.
After reading the first book and seeing it ended in a cliffhanger I had to jump into this when it came out. I was a little surprised that it didn’t pick up exactly with the situation that occurred at the end of book one but we do get answers.
I was glad that Jream de used to move the way she did with Logic and she was right for shunning Renni. Now she was getting on my nerves a little with how she handled the whole Rome/Melly situation and she ran her mouth too much with Nina.
There was a lot more drama in this book than the first and although I liked the book I felt it didn’t have the same steam as book 1 and it dragged a little for me. I will be looking out for book 3 to see how this is all hopefully wrapped up.
The Audacity is higher than gas prices! Renni really pissed me off this entire book! Like I would have left Rome behind right where he was at … she gave him wayyy too much grace… She should of been got her lick back 🤷🏾♀️Love and delusion really have you doing some crazy things chile… it’s no way she thought that Mello would be okay with that … make it make sense. Every five minutes I’m saying “girl are you dumb” Deirra needs to stop trying to force the mending of the friendship between Jream and Renni … everything Jream feels is valid and they all dead wrong. And her secret was not on my bingo card… I hope this doesn’t cause a divide between her and Heavy he really sees a future with her. Logic and Nina both ain’t worth a dime…. He need to be tied and dragged cause although I don’t care for Nina she didnt deserve that. Logic and Nina going to get exactly what’s coming to them. Jream and Menance are really the perfect match… All that talking she doing imma just charge it to the Hormones cause she had me ready to fight her lol… I do understand where she coming from but let that Man love you 😩 … We all know Menance is the real big dawg 😌…. Just part 3 me already 😓
First off, I’m tired of Renni playing this victim role. She was dead wrong in not telling Jream about Nina & Logic. Then between Rome & Melly. How you goin sit at the hospital every single day with your ex who dogged you tf out who was only shot because he tried to kill his best friend which also happens to be your new man? Then get mad because he was sleeping with someone else?? Make that 💩 make sense!
Dierra lowkey plucked my nerves tryna get Jream to basically forgive Renni. Nahhh fck allat! Jream can hold a grudge for however long she wants to! She was the one hurt by their actions. She felt betrayed by her best friend and she is valid in her feelings. Dierra goin mess around and lose a good man if she don’t get her 💩 together. Cause babyyyy I would have told Heavy everything & the type of man he is he definitely would have gave her 30k just to get her out of her situation. I understand having pride, but baby pack it up & accept some help 😅
Now Jream!! I know you ain’t finna break my baby Menace’s heart like datttt 😭 that man has showed you what type of time he’s on. Showed you how serious he is about you & you just goin walk away?? Couldn’t be me! Idk why Jream feels like she had to tell Logic anything 🤦🏾♀️ I would never speak to that man again! Especially knowing him & Menace don’t rock with each other. You have a man that’s telling you he’ll take care of you & your baby whether it’s his or not & you just goin leave him? Girl I need you to get it together! You & Menace supposed to be locked in & you just did him so dirty 😭
Logic is the same piece of 💩 that he’s been since the beginning. I can’t stand him or Nina & the 💩 they doing is absolutely going to backfire on them. I felt bad for what Logic did to Nina but she ain’t learned no type of lesson from what happened to her. Plotting to make sure another woman doesn’t have her child is crazy work. Tbh, I hope they both get theirs & don’t have no type of happy ending.
Whew, I can’t wait for book 3 because everyone in here got me messed up 🤣
3.5 stars Okay we picked up where we left off which was tense! The drama and mess was up there with so much intrigue. However it felt like a filler book and somewhat all the characters weren't as likeable. Also why is Jream acting like she is the one younger than Menace? Like ** spoiler alert ** the man is telling you he is fine raising the kid even if it could turn out not to be his and you break up with him going on about how you can't allow that if he isn't your husband? Also the childish behaviour of just ghosting instead of communicating? I was just frustrated a lot reading this book, but because of the cliffhanger and my intrigue I have to finish this series as it had started real well.
Book 1 I could go on and on about. It had the it factor. Book 2 proves why I'm just not a huge fan of serials. This book was basically filler. Jream made choices and decisions that only make sense to stretch a plot out, not sense from a character perspective or what we were shown in Book 1. Her decision to shut out Menace is Hella immature. Renni is weird, snakey and delulu. I appreciate that her character map tracks though. I mean of course she'll nurse her old dude back to health and cry that her new dude doesn't understand why she's playing nurse to someone who tried to murk him. Be for real. I was honestly ok with the outcome of her storyline because she was dead wrong in Book 1. She's the type of person who thinks they are just so nice and always doing the right thing when in reality they are making F-ed up choices. I hope in Book 3 Melly says deuces to her. Last D's situation looks like it'll be handled. But again, these books are 172 pages. Don't know why it isn't all together as a standalone. Book 2 could have been halved and I'm sure all 3 books could easily equal one standalone. The flow in Book 2 was just meh, a lot of the chapters would oddly recap action that just happened in the previous chapter from someone else's perspective. I would scroll through paragraphs before I could just start reading for new story info. Once I did that for someone's chapter and the only new info was one paragraph before the next chapter with a new POV. It's an odd writing technique, which adds credence to this feeling like filler. If I had known this was a 3 book series I would have just waited.
Remember when I said Come Get Your Clothes Out My House was like Love & Hip Hop and BMF had a baby? Scratch that—because in book two, these niggas done upgraded to Power. I had no idea which way this story was about to go, but I definitely wasn’t expecting the rollercoaster I just read.
I thought Jream and Renni were having their way… I was dead wrong. Their love lives were in shambles this time around. Jream and Menace were doing so good—finally pulling through—but then they hit a rough patch. And instead of working through it, Jream decided to handle things solo… and yeah, that ain’t working in her favor.
And Renni?? Poor, stupid Renni. Between Nina, Melly, and Rome, she just keeps choosing wrong and spiraling. I’m seriously hoping she gets a grip in book three because she’s really getting on my nerves Logic? Completely lost his mind… but I’m rooting for Menace to help him find it. Speaking of Menace—that CLIFFHANGER?! Whew. Out of everyone, he’s the one I want to see happy… even if it’s not with Jream.
We also got a peek into the third friend’s situation, and while it felt a little forced, it was still interesting enough to keep me locked in.
Overall: 3.5/5 stars. It didn’t hit as hard as the first one and was a bit harder to follow, but I’m still all in for book three. Bonnie better come with it!
I loved the friendship/sisterhood Jream, Dierra, and Renni had but now Renni getting on my nerves telling business that's not hers because she knew how Nina was feeling and still told her Jream's business! Logic is still a mess and a coward! I'm thinking maybe those dates weren't correct with that pregnancy and now Jream may be setting her self up for nothing. I hope that was just a ploy to make it look like Menace was in that studio so Logic will think he's dead and I'm with Dierra when she said Jream needs to just close that chapter with Logic because he's still delusional thinking they'll get back together and there's no limit to how far he'll go to get rid of people!! I can't wait to see what happens next with everybody and these crazy situations!!
I feel so bad for Renni because she can’t win for losing but she was dead wrong not telling Jream the truth. I don’t trust Melly for some reason I feel he gonna pin shit on Renni if they are successful in unaliving Rome. I feel like Jream is being to head strong because at the end of the day there is a possibility that that baby is Menaces’ and if she not gonna let Logic know then she can at least get a DNA test and find out for sure. For her to just cut Menace off like that is messed up. Diera is in some BS and she needs to tell Heavy before he finds out and it blows up in her face. Can’t wait for part 3.
Baby, this book was everything, it gave answers from part one, but left me with questions, feening for part three. I love me some Menace, but Jream is working my last nerve with her indecisive behind!!! I never thought I would feel sorry for Nina, but I can’t wait for Logic to get everything he deserves, him and Rome deserve to suffer!!! These women deserve to be loved, and I just need somebody to help poor Dierra. Another five stars!!! I Loved it ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️!
Bonnieeeeeeeee why you play me like that lol??? I just knew book two was about to be sunshine and rainbows. Dierra is cool but honeyyyyy all that asking about Renni was working my nerves. Once a snake, always a snake! Like why are you questioning me about that friendship instead of handling your business. Jream 🙄 that’s my girl, but why would you ignore all the information Menace gave about Logic…… Jream and Menace are the perfect couple to me idc idc idc. Menace come save our girl in book three please. 4.5/5 because it was a cliffhanger lol❤️
If you going to be anything with this book you definitely going to be entertained.
( this book should be named something else entirely)
One big critique I have with this author is how she’s not showing us the story but she’s telling it. Stuff is not being said out. We would have one big paragraph of her basically summing up how something is going on instead of letting it play out.
Jream was a lil more tolerable this book.
Renni ain’t shiiixxt & her sister ain’t either.
Dierra is literally the only sane girl in this book.
Now Book 2 continues on with the mess and babe it’s gonna take you on a ride!!! Just imagine Indecent Proposal but for sake of keeping a secret and it backfires and a whole situationship forms and you left feeling salty!!!! The mess just continues and the secrets are coming out!!!
Yall atp just read it so you can be sucked in just like I was and get ready for book 3!!!!!!
The unfolding narrative reveals complex characters grappling with deeply ingrained perspectives, shaped by their experiences and societal influences. Despite the challenging dynamics, there's an underlying hope that empathy, and personal growth will ultimately triumph, guiding these individuals toward mutual respect and compassion. VreneeG
Not to give away too much, but this book is definitely worth it. I cannot rest until I know Jream and Menace are together. I know Menace is good tho. He’s too smart to get caught out there. I need part 3 like I need air at this point.
This second installment was entertaining. Each one of these characters have something going on and I'm here for it. Now I'm hanging by a limb waiting for this story to unfold. I hope 3 drop ASAP
Jream is starting to pmo! Lol Jream was literally sick when she seen Menace & Ray’s stories on IG. Book 2 was just as good as book 1! Ready & waiting for the next installment!
Whew!!! How did the second book become better than the first! When i tell you the way the mess over lap’s with more mess! I just know Menace better get Jream in the end! Lol loved this story now i am waiting for the third book like a crack head!
Logic thinks he's won but Menace is playing chess on him lol. Nina is grimy but she knows who to play with. Jream needs to stop being childish and go for what her heart wants. D needs to be honest with Heavy before he walks.
This series is a messy ass rollercoaster that I don’t wanna get off! Bonnie put her foot in this series - the mess with everyone in this book just went through the roof! Off to book 3…
