Shadowgraph Magazine specializes in the art of the interview. We interview accomplished artists, writers, scientists, and scholars of cultural significance from a wide variety of disciplines who offer thoughtful and in-depth consideration of ideas and creative processes in relation to the complex questions that have faced humanity since civilization. To facilitate the cross-pollination of ideas, we offer contrasting points of view across disciplines and open cultural boundaries by publishing a wide-range of translated works. Shadowgraph Two has an interview with historian Luis Campos about genetic engineering, with filmmaker Barry Levinson (Diner, Rain Man), and with writers Arthur Sze, Daisy Fried and Kevin McIlvoy. We also feature essays, poetry, and fiction.
