Was waiting for the audiobook version because I like to listen to short stories rather than read them wherever possible. A beautiful concept for the One Dublin One Book initiative showing the city in all it's glory and grime. The great strength and weakness of short story anthologies is that some of them will just not be to your taste (hence the 4) but I loved the vast majority of them. Some standouts for me: Charming and quirky 'Eggshells' by Caitriona Lally, enchanting 'Dublin: a Poet's View' by Felis Speaks and the delightfully strange 'There are Little Kingdoms' by Kevin Barry. My favourite was Famine Days by Réré Ukponu. It was always going to be my favourite because every time I've read it or heard it being performed I get goosebumps. She truly has the gift of the gab whether in conversation or writing I just want to listen to her forever and ever.

Nice collection of stories, essays, novel excerpts and poems cebturing around Dublin.

The place where I was born and have spent most of my life to date.
It was wonderful to see so many perspectives of our fair city.
I now know so many Dublins.
