I was impressed with the high entertainment value, but willingness to stick to high moral standards... for a teenage level reading book.

I loved the descriptions of the evil characters, and I liked the intelligence given to the teens.

It's a great story for overcoming terrible experiences, even in family... but even more... that sometimes the people who are behaving terribly, aren't the true enemy.

Very cool.

I grew up with Mark and know that he has always wanted to write books. I'm happy that he has been able to get his first two out although he doesn't get along with the publisher too well.
