They all want me.

The nobody.

Their savior.

I’d always idolized them growing up, but since they forced me back, I see them for who they are.

My four beautiful, angry boys grew into stubborn, selfish men. Men who take what they want with no regard for anyone or anything. Except maybe me.

But I won’t let my feelings blind me. All four men are masters of manipulation and so incredibly toxic. Despite it all, I want them too.

Burned bridges and buried bodies litter the roads they’ve traveled, and the crimes they’ve committed are threatening to unravel the life they’ve built.

They’ve made enemies in a world I want no part of.

This time, I’m going to do more than warn them.
This time, I’m doing everything different.

But can I stay and sacrifice the life I wanted for myself?

Or will history repeat itself?

This is the second book in the Collection book series. The Fashion boys are thrilled that Beasty has moved in with them. They genuinely desire Beasty, yet they maintain a distance from her, sending conflicting signals that are perplexing.
Beasty is overjoyed because she might finally get the answers she’s been seeking from her friends. However, it’s like pulling teeth to get her questions answered.
These five characters are grappling with significant issues stemming from their childhood experiences. The author is gradually revealing their individual stories, and my heart aches for the pain they endured. It is a dark story but very well written that it will keep you captivated til the end.

One thing that I really love about this series, aside from the characters and storyline, are the darker aspects and how they are handled. I love when an author doesn't shy away from uncomfortable topics, but also doesn't use it as a means to add in some shock value. I went on a dark romance binge awhile back, and I was repeatedly thrown out of the story by a lot of moments that I think were thrown in for shock value. These just did not work for me. With this series though, I was hooked from start to finish.

I love love love the diversity that is in this book. Sometimes when reading RH, if you've read one, you feel like you've read them all. The Collection, thus far, is a series unto itself, and I am so here for it! Highly recommend!

3.5 stars for now

First of all, I thought this was a duet, so I read it after Edged was released. This review is based on the first 2 books.

I think it's kind of hard to rate and also to review. I felt the two books could have been just one. So much of the story dragged without anything really happening. It got boring and a bit of struggle to get through.
I don't think miscommunication is the correct term for what was going on between the characters. More like failure to communicate at all and unwillingness to look outside of their own view. The guys were assholes, and not in a good way. More like in an emotionally abusing way. The thing is, I understood it, why they were that way. But their severe lack of growth and placing blame with the fmc got old real fast.
And then, Edged ends in a cliffhanger... Just when, after 2 books, things finally started to happen...

As interesting as this story is, by the time the next book is released, I'll have probably already forgotten exactly what happened and not willing to read the first 2 in the series again. And as heartwrenching as their stories are, I felt no connection with any of the characters. Their thinking is too skewed for that.

.Seppy's 5 + Star Review:

This book is about how the Fashion Boys Atlas and Kim, Joaquin, and Lake adore Beasty so much. They have stalked her, and obsessed about for years. But do they really know her? Do they understand who she is or do they just put her on this pedestal? Do they include her and listen to what she says or make her feel welcome? Sure they have deep feelings for her and are very obsessed with her but they are doing everything wrong. This book shows the readers that these boys are just that boys. They aren't thinking of Beasty as a partner, friend, or welcome into their little boy group.  They have kept her on the outside looking in for years with the reasoning that she is too good for them. But now that they decided they want her to join them everything is supposed to be butterflies and rainbows. It's not! This book goes back and forth between the first time they asked her to join them and the present time with them.  Will the boys ever understand what Beasty needs and wants before it's too late? Can Beasty get the boys to see that she isn't someone who wants to be put on a pedestal but wants to be a partner or feel welcome, and needed?

This one ends in a cliffhanger that I didn't see coming and it is a game changer. I can't wait to see what is going to happen next because it is going to be great. I just know it! I seriously love Blake Blessings writing. I am hooked and can't wait for more. If you haven't started this series, start it now. One-click this one today!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is a dark why choose romance. You will want to check your warnings in the beginning of the book before diving in. This is the story of Beasty, Joaquin, Lake, Kim and Atlas. I don't know that boys ever really change and just grow into larger versions of who they are in they are younger. We are about to put that theory to the test in this book. Beasty has always thought these four guys were angry when they were younger. But now that they have forced her back in their world she realizes they just got angrier. But now add to that being stubborn, selfish who take what they want and don't really care at all what other people think about it. However there actions have made enemies and those enemies are now coming for them. It could unravel the life they have built. Except maybe Beasty has what it takes to save them all. But, it could cost her everything. There is no doubt these guys have feelings for her. And they have welcomed her into their little group. But will they listen to her? Heed her warnings? You have to read to find all this out. This book is really good. It has twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved that we get the flashbacks of how they were before versus now. I have to say the end of this book is going to chance everything. I can feel it. Now I just need the next book in my hot little hands as soon as possible.

=Two books down in this series and I'm not sure this is an author I'm going to keep up with. I thought the guys in the Bastard Brothers series were unlikeable, but these guys are even worse. They're absolutely toxic.

They've been obsessed with Beastie most of their lives, and show her how much they value her by refusing to speak to her and always keeping her on the outside. When they finally bring her to live with them, they treat her like some pampered pet, ignoring all of her concerns and disregarding how much she wants to live a normal life with a normal job. They project all their hopes onto her, but complete ignore everything she says. Even living in their house, she's still kept on the outisde looking in. So, of course she leaves them. Who wouldn't?

But it's their behavior when they get her back that's even more concerning. I've never seen so much gaslighting. They act like her leaving was a huge betrayal when they never acted like they wanted her there in the first place. They're nasty, they coerce her into sex to earn their approval, they
twist up her words and scream at her because she doesn't want to be caught up in criminal behavior even though they KNEW that's why she left them the first time. They continue to expect her to fit herself into their little box instead of accepting her as she is. It SO TOXIC.

Beasty and the Fashion Boys are as toxic as they are enthralling! I was floored with Edged and I thank Blake for sharing notice at the start that as toxic as they are, they’ve grown up in ways that no one ever should have to and that understanding is key because the frustration and irritation is absolutely real during this one. We pick up where we were left before and it is nonstop until the very end. Beasty is stuck in her thought process from Books’ advice still, the boys are stuck on Beasty without understanding her or her needs. There is some great moments with side characters (who you might recognize from other things). I love the flashbacks because there’s so much hurt and misunderstandings between them all we’d be lost without seeing what happened then and how it relates to what’s happening now. There was a bit more spice than I expected but I can’t wait until there’s even more, especially when the final one gives in completely. Not gonna lie, Kim is still my favorite but surprisingly Lake has moved up now too. Atlas is Atlas and Joaquin needs to pull his head out but I get why it’s so difficult for them all because Beasty’s head needed pulled as well. However that final chapter had me in tears and I am anxiously awaiting Crazed now to find out what’s happening. 5⭐️ 2🌶️

Format: 📱 eBook 📱

Check TWs before starting.

This picks up from where book one ended. We get a deeper dive into the characters, and get more of an understanding of why they are the way they are. Of what makes them tick, and of what will (hopefully) bring them together.

We continue to read on the differing timelines, learning of the pasts of the characters in a unique way, without "info dumping" and with progressing the story in a natural way. It gives more explanation to actions, but I still found myself wanting to give a couple of these broken boys a swift slap upside the head.

It's filled with action and angst, some spicy scenes - which whilst written amazingly, also at times felt out of place, given how the boys had been treating Beasty leading up to them - and twists that are unexpected. That ending? Did not see it coming, and I'm intrigued to know where their story will go from here.

One thing I will say - these five idiots in love (cause let's face it, we all know they are in love, just won't admit it to each other) need to learn to communicate better. Twisted, broken pasts or not.

Thank you to the author and @peachykeenas for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.

Edged by Blake Blessing pulls you in just as fiercely as the first book and refuses to let go. From the very beginning, the story grips you and maintains that intensity throughout, making it nearly impossible to put down. Once again, the author doesn’t shy away from heavy and challenging themes, but what truly stands out is the care and sensitivity with which these topics are handled. Nothing feels gratuitous; instead, the difficult moments add depth and emotional weight to the story.

The reverse harem aspect remains refreshingly original, with a strong emphasis on diversity and well-developed characters. Each dynamic within the group carries its own distinct atmosphere, and the shifting moods between characters are written exceptionally well. This variety in relationships and emotional tones is easily one of the strongest and most enjoyable elements of the book. While some of the questions left at the end of book one are gradually answered, Edged cleverly introduces new mysteries in their place. This balance keeps the intrigue alive and continually fuels the reader’s curiosity. And just like its predecessor, the book ends on a major cliffhanger. One that practically guarantees I’ll be diving straight into book three very soon. 😉

All the tension!
The tension between these characters certainly continues in this book! Kim is willing to do anything to get Beasty to stay and pushing his own boundaries for her love; Atlas is punishing her and pushing her; Joaquin cannot control his temper long enough to hear her out and Lake might just be the one to tip her over the edge 😬 theres a lot of angst between these characters as they’re all holding onto ideals for each other that they just can’t live up to! Although some hot scenes smeggs is definitely used more as a tool in this than any real ‘togetherness’ 😳 I struggled to connect with this book as much as the first but then I personally don’t like a whole lot of angst between the main characters and so to have two books of it was a lot for me but if you like that then definitely one for you 👍
The plot moves along in the background and with issues flaring up that the guys are having to fire fight, and it definitely culminates with that cliffhanger ending! 😮

I swear that ending was shocking to say the least, but I kinda wonder if it's to get Beasty to do something that the boy's had warned her not to do, but after what's happened how can she not. We're once again in the dark world of the Fashion Boy's Atlas and Kim, Joaquin, Lake.

There's so many thing's these boy's have needed to do and my biggest frustration with them is to keep Beasty in the dark, but I get it, these poor boy's had the worst childhood and struggle to communicate with Beasty, but when are they going to just take a breath and tell her thing's, because now thing's are out of control.

This book had me going back n forth between when she decided to stay to the present, and I have to agree with her about them making her feel like she is on the outside, but instead of saying this she keeps it inside and draws her own conclusions, so hopefully in book 3, because yeh, this does end on a doozy of a cliffhanger and hopefully we'll get some answers in the next book Crazed if that's not a perfect name just like this one's name because there definitely was a lot of edging going on in here iykyk😏.

This series is darkish. In an unexpected way. It’s not your typical fairytale where the princess needs rescuing and all is well when she meets her prince.

The princess is actually the beast, nicknamed Beastie, the prince is 4 toxic flawed men who just won’t let her go even if she keeps pushing them away, and the HEA? Well we haven’t gotten there yet.

But the journey so far? Man, am i ever addicted.

I love how Blake created this diverse group of characters who don’t just change overnight because of love. They are stubborn, imperfect, and continue to be that way even as they start evolving in their relationship with Beastie.

There’s really delicious steam, tension for days, and so much back and forth that has you turning page after page.

In book1, we learned a lot about their past in the aftermath of being rescued by Beastie. In this one we learn what happened when Beastie lived with them the first time around and what went wrong.

Questions are answered, but in true Blake style, she leaves you with even more.

Well done Blake. It was another delicious instalment.

I couldn't stop reading. Fashionland meets crimeland.
Book 2 continues in the disaster of the relationship between childhood friends Beasty, Lake, Atlas, Joaquin, and Kim. Being grown up doesn't help these characters broken love languages to communicate. They are full tilt into the toxic levels, and its like a train wrecked you can't stop watching. I love every word of it.
Edged is slow burn, with slight growth in characters and a cliffhanger. Blake Blessing keeps the pace between past and future steady with clear distinction in characters' voices and their turmoil.
Tropes:
Mafia. Triggers. Red flag men. Why choose. Fashion industry. MM. 🐝 dsm.
Quotes:
"All I ever wanted was to be with you four." Her voice dropped low, and somehow, her calmness after such an outburst seemed louder. "That was it. I wanted to be your friend. Hoped to be your lover. To matter." Beasty's voice cracked.

"I can't lose her again, Joaquin. It will destroy me," he quietly pleaded.

This book starts where the last book left off; like the last book, we get the present and past parts of their story. We learn more about Beasty and the boys for the first time living together and then get the present. Each of these people (Beasty included) has some serious issues due to their childhood experiences and it is playing with how they are handling their relationships now. I get that they all have different kinks but this goes deeper to a level that they are going to have to grow in themselves for this relationship to work with all of them. It really is heartbreaking to witness the boys and Beasty hurting each other because they see things and feels things so differently. This book has lots of heat and some very interesting side characters (some we have seen in other places). I’m really enjoying this book and I can’t wait for the next one as this left us on a huge cliffhanger but at least Beasty finally broke through her blinders. What a ride!

Absolutely ruined by these men, and I liked it.

This book??? This book.
I went in expecting spice. What I got was emotional warfare, obsessive tension, and a heroine with more backbone than all four men combined (and that’s saying something).

Blake Blessing doesn’t write romance. She writes emotional chaos with jaw-clenching angst, red-flag energy, and just enough softness to leave you wrecked and grateful for it.

The boys? Toxic, possessive, manipulative, and somehow still impossible to hate.

The plot? Fast-paced, twisted, and layered with just the right amount of slow-burn backstory.

The writing? Sharp and unforgiving, with emotional hits that sneak up on you mid-scene.

I finished it in one sitting, closed the book, and just sat there, wondering how I got emotionally attached to four walking heartbreaks and why I want more.

If you like your romance with deep wounds, dangerous men, and decisions you’ll judge but secretly support, this one’s for you.

🅴🅳🅶🅴🅳 (The Collection Book 2)
By Blake Blessing

Book two in the series needs to be read in order. MMFMM. This picks up from book one. I was so frustrated with all these characters at some point. With all the trauma and how they were raised they all have different ways of handling things and the communication and understanding what the guys and Beasty need or what is not connecting.

With the Mafia after her the guys just want to keep her safe in their own way. She just wants to know the truth about the guys. The suspense of waiting for something bad to happen to her just to be surprised at the end with that cliffhanger!

We did see more relationship develop and some individual growth and reflection in all of them. I feel like they still have more and I am sure we will see that.

Okay, to start this off when did this book come out and how did I miss it?! I actually forgot all about the first one shortly after I finished it (I read a LOT), but the second I saw this pop up in my “series you’ve started” on kindle I immediately downloaded it. Just by seeing the cover I remembered how much I loved the first book. It only took me a few chapters to get back into the story and remember what was going on. Oh and I LOVE how there was a recap before the book started. I really wish more authors would do that. This was so good! I’m so sad that I have to wait so long for book three. Other than this series I’ve only read one other book by this author and I wasn’t a big fan, but this series has changed my mind and I’m definitely going to be reading more of their books soon.

I really didn't mind this book.

Edged is book 2 in The Collection series by Blake Blessing and is set in the same world as the Bastard Brothers of Carnage. This series follows the Fashion Boys as they're known, they have connections to the psychotic Parker.

Blake's writing is really easy to binge, and I did just that. Edged follows on where Snatched left off with the arrests, and even though they get out, you just know the book is about to get more chaotic.

I really wanted to bang a few characters heads together in this one. On both sides of the coin, Beasty and the guys have built their own ideas of what the other side should be and how they should act when they don't really know each other at all. By the end of Edged it did get a bit better, but just going by the cliffhanger, you know the next book is going to be just as wild.

A lot has happened. As bad as everyone's start was originally they have grown so much, they pushed, they got better stronger, faster.

We pick up where we were left off. Beasty is stuck in her head, trying to figure out what the boys are up to and to process. The boys are stuck on Beasty without understanding her or her needs. She wants to be independent, she has been alone so long that having someone care for you nonstop feels like cherity.

We see some flashbacks the misunderstandings and pain. I love seeing the characters and how much everyone has already grown. Some still have a way to go but Blake is amazing at getting

that last chapter hurt Blake and I'm in need of knowing what is happening 😩 you had me in tears and so ready for more.

Loved

I was super excited for this book after reading Book 1 and definitely did not disappoint!

This book goes from present to past and I love it because learning more about Beasty and the boys. You know and can tell the boys care and even love Beasty but they have kept things from her for so long that they just can't seem to grasp what she wants. They think she's too good for them but obviously she wants them. So many twists and turns.

Will the boys ever figure out how to communicate with her? Will they ever realize that she doesn't feel too good for them and just wants them to include her? Need to read this. Not all questions answered because that cliffhanger was unexpected and brutal! Can't wait for next book!

WOW! This was an emotional rollercoaster ride filled with all kinds of ups and downs, plenty of laughs and loads of spice. I was once again on the edge of my seat the whole way through and addicted to the Fashion Boys and Beasty!!

These boys are so toxic and twisted but I loved them anyway. The things they do and the things they say had me in a chokehold.

The spice was utterly spicy and I craved and loved every delicious moment of it.

There’s more drama, emotional turmoil, suspense, tension, heartache and an explosive cliffhanger ending that has left me in pins and needles for book 3! I can’t wait!

Just as enthralling as the first one in the series

I haven't been reading a lot of dark lately, but I'd been waiting for this release since reading the first one, and I couldn't read it as it came out. It's one of few series that I'm fine with not waiting for everything to be released because I need the crumbs I can get now.

The men are toxic but loveable. Besides Kim, he's just a loveable bb. I adore all of them, but especially Kim.

And I just have to mention again how refreshing it is to have a romance, especially why choose, where they aren't all white men. I love this series for that.

Beasty is back...
Book 2 doesn't disappoint and only adds to the series.
This one took me on a bit of an emotional roller-coaster. With past trauma, lack of communication, and inner battles.

There was drama, all the feels, spicy times, and more!!

I'm loving Beasty and her fashion boys even more in this book. While, there is still tension and much growth needed...I think we will get there eventually.

I think was a great addition to the series. Unfortunately, we are left on a cliffhanger, but it only makes me want to read book 3 even more!!

I was wondering if book 2 in this series could be just as good as the first book and I was glad It was. Beasty (FMC) and the guys clashed about what she wanted and what the guys thought she needed. I liked the back and forth of the jumping into the past to clarify exactly what had happened to them. Which I think was needed to give some backstory. All of which was happening whilst still trying to confront The Pescis. It certainly kept me gripped right up until that knockout cliff-hanger ending. Which was blindingly brilliant. Bring on book 3.

That ending!!!! I can't wait to see where this goes in the next book. I struggled with this one a little. I had very similar feelings about this one as I did about Snatched. For me, I felt that the beginning dragged and that some scenes were repetitive from the first book. I normally struggle with dual timelines, but I found the ones in Edged to be more confusing than normal because they were adults in both timelines so it was harder to remember what timeline we were in in the middle of a chapter.

“Nothing matters more than you, Beasty. You’re the most important person in the world to me. To all of us.”

I love Blake’s writing and how her characters are damaged but grow throughout their books. The characters in this series are still finding this way and how to move forward with their past and present issues.

Beasty is finding her spot between these guys and what she wants for herself. The dynamic with the four guys and Beasty keeps you hooked and wanting more. The push-and-pull dynamic and sexual tension are another thing that keeps you reading. I can’t wait to see what happens next with these characters.

say waht you want but i love this story!
the love, the toxicity, the depth of everything that all of these cahracters have been through added with all the TW and the darkness make an ideal story for me.
They all grow and evolve as the story progress and once more say what you want but i love Atlas.
I loce how each relationsip progresses and how they all evolve as characters but as a group.
The author knows how to spin her stories and keep you captivated to each page.
I can't wait to see how this story will end!
