Although Lexi is now a Private Investigator rather than an amateur, I still identify the series as cozy mysteries, and I love all of them! Operation: Sapphire, the 18th book in the Lexi Graves Mysteries series, brings all the humor of the later books in the series and the family fun, but there is still a serious crime to be investigated. Lexi, Solomon, and in a new twist, her dad work together to investigate a jewelry store robbery that touches on sad history and leads them to a nemesis who in turn pulls Maddox into the investigation. Naturally with Maddox and Lexi together there is a whole new level of humor along with some sensitive memories. I love that Solomon respects her dad's experience and brings him in to help out and boost his feelings about retirement. The quest for the sapphire even gives Lily a chance to shine. An all-round fun read and a must pre-order for me.
This book has everything that I love in my books. It has the continuing wonderful characters, a great mystery with a great "villain," wit, a bit of romance, and a happy ending. I read all the time and this series is one of my favorite series. I love these books. This book is a great addition to the series.
If you’re looking for a good time, laugh out loud read, then the Lexi Graves series is where it’s at. This has been another fantastic installment in the series. One of my go to series when I need some comic relief. If you are looking for the horizontal mambo, this isn’t it. But if you want good fun, then dive right in.
Another fun story! This book takes place almost immediately after that last one and as the title suggests there is stolen jewelry. Lexi brings her dad into this case, I would have liked to get to know him more, he was in the book but Lexi's mom has had more presence. Still I enjoyed the change.
A jewelry break in brings in Lexi and Solomon. Security measures are installed. But there is something niggling at Lexi. Information further complicated things. Good read!
I love the fact that with each book it seems that Lexi is getting smarter and more clever. Great story and great ending. Looking forward to the next one.
Another great instalment in this fantastic series. Great characters, plenty of twists and turns and loads of laugh out loud moments. Can’t wait to find out what Lexi and lily get up to next!!
I love this series! With the twists and turns, and a side of comparison, couldn’t put it down. I hope Lexi gets to team up with the thief in the future.
This is a fun read that I loved. Lexi, and BFF Lilly, get caught up in a crazy search for a stolen ring. The search is bith funnt and a bit poignant as it touches on a sad time in history.
Fans of the genre will love this book. While part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however, it's so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.
