If you are going to undertake a child psychology or teacher training course then you NEED this book.
It is honestly the 'bible' of children's development. it is basic so it doesn't tell you everything you need to know, that requires further reading. This book flies off the shelves at the university library because it is so in demand!

I would get myself a copy if I were you (and interested in children's development). It is definitely worth it!
