What they needed was a decision.

Josh, Kate, and David thought their greatest concern was whether to come forward with the truth or let the past stay buried.

But life had other plans.

Now, David’s fighting for recovery, their once charming Baltimore row home stands in ruin, and two mad men bent on revenge hold the keys to their darkest secrets.

And amidst the chaos?

A lingering question still persists: Who’s with who in their little trio? A question that should be easy but sends Kate down a destructive path and has Josh summoning an old friend whose presence brings as much chaos as it does calm.

Tensions near a boiling point when past and present collide, tangling the finely woven threads of their lives into a web of depravity and deceit that shakes their very foundation. Yet, even as the dust settles, and freedom looms within reach, the question lingers.

Can they find their way back to one another, or is truth the most devastating weapon of all?

Tangled by Stephania Thompson is a raw and beautifully written book that further deepened the powerful and complicated connections between Josh, Kate, and David. The characters felt incredibly real and authentic and highlighted the fact that love and life are rarely simple. The addition of Tess into their Baltimore home added a new and refreshing layer to the mix. Thompson did an amazing job of further exploring the impact of past trauma and heartache into the lives of the characters. Despite the darkness and pain from their past and ongoing struggles, I loved how Thompson weaved light, funny, and relatable moments into the book. The last page was a cliffhanger that made me long for more. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to see what happens next!

I’ve been waiting to see what happens with Josh, Kate, and David. The author did not disappoint! Even though I couldn’t remember all the details from the first book, I was able to follow along. This could definitely be a stand alone book. A new character is added that shakes things up. I wasn’t sure about the ending, but damn it! That last part got me! Now I can’t wait to read the next one! Well written and a fun read.

I could not wait to get my hands on Tangled by Stephania Thompson. The second installment of Charm City Threads does not disappoint. There is a little spice, a little suspense and a lot of chaos that keeps the reader on edge and makes it impossible to put this book down.
David, Kate and Josh are back and tangled together. They have added new friends to their chaos and confusion. As the trio work through health issues, house issues and their complicated past together, the reader gets insight into each character's mind and their deepest, sometimes darkest thoughts. Although the characters wrestle with some challenging issues, there is humor and light woven throughout the pages of this book. The author does an excellent job of taking you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I read things that shocked me and made me cringe. I also read things that made me cry and laugh out loud. I was rooting for each character and wanting them to find the hope and peace they each seem to be searching for. I was left wanting more. It’s a good thing there is a third book in the Charm City Threads series. I would highly recommend this book.

There’s nothing better than receiving an ARC from an author and poet you enjoy. If the world is getting you down, it’s certainly fun to get tangled up in the drama of Tangled. I read the first book of this series and loved how the author made me feel for each character. I must admit I have my favorites now and may be rooting for an outcome. But I guess I’ll have to wait for the next book to see if my wishes come true. Tangled is a nice blend of toxic relationships, enduring friendship, and scandal. If readers like Taylor Jenkins Reid, I think they would enjoy this series. It’s a tiny bit of Hollywood meets America’s Most Wanted with a dash of old-school Three’s Company.

I have been waiting to see what happens with Josh, David and Kate after Woven and was not disappointed. I enjoyed how Stephania Thompson provided more of their history while telling their current stories. I enjoyed having a new character with Tess, who fits in with the trio well. We are left with another cliffhanger…I am definitely looking forward to see what happens next!
