Today passed LPI 101.I read only this book for theory andhelp me entirely. The best practice for this exam is to study in deep detail that is the key for success in this exam.

Pretty good and readable book for its type. Helped me put a number things into context. I had a fair amount of Linux knowledge, but didn't really know how it fit together. This book helped gain a clearer picture of the overall setup.

Observation: Book covers both Redhat and Debian-based distros, but leans toward Redhat. That's probably appropriate for the LPIC test, but I was more interested in the Debian side.

This was a really good book. I think that it is a little outdated. I have pre ordered the newer version for when it comes out mid-month.

This book partially helped me pass the cert. Mid-level can still find it very useful.
