Griddle cooking may have seen out of reach for many reasons; however, I’m here to tell you that it’s not as difficult as it seems. I used to visit my grandma on her farm when I was a kid, and that’s where I first learned about griddle cooking. Helping her cook delicious meals on a flat-top griddle on a stovetop is among my first memories. Griddles were not as popular back then as they are now, and getting one was quite difficult and expensive; however, you could get a flat-top surface for a stovetop that worked just like a griddle.
I remember when griddles started getting popular a few years ago, and I was so excited to get one. Cooking, especially on the griddle, always brings back fond memories of my childhood and helping my grandmother on her farm. This is where I learned many of the techniques. I have retained my grandmother’s love for cooking, and I have continued doing this as an adult. I have continued to experiment with different recipes and have expanded my knowledge from reading cookbooks, watching cooking shows from the world’s greatest chefs, and trying recipes I’ve found on the Internet, and all this combined has allowed me to develop my own recipes that I’ve tweaked and honed until I’m 100% happy with how they taste.
