A Developer vs. Dinner Owner Enemies to Lovers Story!
I LOVED this novel by Ella Ashton.
It begins with an act of betrayal against Sarah and her return to her hometown, Fairview, for the funeral of a very important person from her past. Sarah then finds out that the local diner, that her family used to own and run, was up for sale. She decides to purchase it, renovate it and bring it back to its old glory. She then finds out that there is more that needs to be done than just fixing up the dinner like saving the town.
Daniel, a land developer who is trying to make a name for and prove himself to his father, is in town to purchase the town. He thought it would be really easy to accumulate what he needed. However, he didn't expect to have such a worthy opponent in Sarah.
If you want a heartwarming novel with well written characters, that includes an enemies to lovers plot, this is it! You absolutely HAVE to read it yourself!

I loved Sarah and Daniel's story. Absolutely 2 people who were met for each other. She came home foe a funeral and went back home early finding her fiance and best friend in bed in her house. After throwing them both out she headed back to her hometown. Her parents were killed when she was young. They had run a diner. Daniel a business developer trying to impress his father doing things behind the scene wanting to do big things in Sarah's hometown. When she hears what is being done to the town she buys the diner back. When she meets Daniel he gives her his brothers name not wanting her to know who he really was. She goes to a town meeting and there he is the real Daniel. Many things happen and sparks flew the first time they met. It is truly a HEA. Really enjoyed this book.
Daniel is determined to bring his ideas to fruition in the small town of Fairview only he had planned that the diner would be the corner stone of his project. What he wasn't expecting was Sarah, a feisty woman who is set in her own ways and wasn't looking to sell. It starts them along their path because both of them are determined and set in their ways. Sparks ignite and love blossoms between them and when two pink lines shows up things get very real. Will Daniel and Sarah's feelings take them to the next level and lead them along the path to a happily ever after.

After a breakup, Sarah returns to her hometown of Fairview to buy back the diner her parents owned so it won't be sold to a developer. One night with "Alex" leaves her stunned. Then Sarah finds out his true identity and vows to make sure he doesn't get his way with his redevelopment plan for the town and wind up falling for each other in the process.
This was such a great enemies to lovers story. It had me hooked from the beginning. The characters were so well written. The author has instantly become one of my favorites.
On the heals of a breakup Sarah makes the decision to buy back her family’s diner so it won’t go to a developer. A one night stand with “Alex” has her out of her element. Things take an interesting turn when she learns his true identity. Can they work together to make the town great again? Or will his overbearing father get in the way of real honest change? I absolutely loved everything about this story. Just enough passion and the humor was plentiful. I voluntarily an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I loved reading The Forbidden Billionaire Developer - A Small Town Enemies to Lovers Romance by Ella Ashton. Sarah and Daniel's story hooked me from the beginning. It warmed my heart with how much Daniel cared for Sarah especially when he found out she was pregnant. Ella told a beautiful love story and this is one you will want to read.

I would give this book like 3.8/5 stars. I thought it was good, my only problem is that the synopsis talks about the pregnancy, but they don’t even introduce the pregnancy til about 66% through the book. I think if you talk about it, it should be within the first half to see how they deal with it. Although I’m not too hung up on this because I liked how they developed before the pregnancy, and we needed them to get to that place before they could know she was pregnant. Good characters. ;)

Sarah and Daniel are two endearing and well written characters. I found the plot, the romance and writing by Ella all very interesting and well written. You will find that Ella has a way with words that keeps you wanting to know more and more until you finish the book.
While I enjoyed this book, the author left out too much family, character, and town dynamics. There’s too much hinting and not enough details because the sole focus is on the main characters. Overall, a good read if you want some spice and okay with an okay story. 3.5 stars.
A nice change from the typical Billionaire romance novels. I suggest not starting until you have a lot of time on your hands to finish it! I read it in one sitting.
I couldn't get enough of this book from start to finish, pity there wasn't a second book. The story of luv / hate in the start which explodes into one of the best luv stories you'll read, the ups and downs in life but luv shines through!
I enjoyed the forbidden billionaire developer which was Daniel and Sarah’s story. It was an exciting and intense read. I got a copy of the book and voluntarily leaving this review.
My review of the book The Forbidden Billionaire Developer. Rating: 4, good. This book gives all the feels! It pulls the reader in so much, you can't put it down because you need to know the next piece to the story. The Forbidden Billionaire Developer is a perfect mix of a Hallmark sweet hometown romance mixed with a little spice.
