United under the cause of keeping the planet Keplier from the clutches of Vicaro Garva, the crew of the Phantasm and their allies make their way to the CUBE—a mini-planet built for peaceful business discourse.
But they haven’t won the battle for Keplier yet. Regardless of newfound support, if the bid is lost the planet faces a fate of mass destruction. As they navigate the delicate balance of building a successful alliance, James and Annie must control their growing dread as they prepare to meet the very man who is responsible for the death of Delwaphria.
This is slower paced than the other books, but that isn't a bad thing. I liked the quiet, tender moments with Annie and James. I apprecited James taking time for self reflection and work through some things. This is a fun series!
I recieved an eARC from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Another great entry in the Man from Delwaphria series! Isert’s character work and dialogue shines as always! I could picture the characters, hear their voices, and envision them and the vibrant worlds they visit. The excellent writing makes all of that easy! Once again I’m left wanting more! This books exceptionally thrilling ending ensured that! If you haven’t read the other three go read them!
This series just keeps getting better. This time we're taken to the most unique setting of all so far, and it's full of political intrigue and family drama.. and we finally meet Annie's dad. Plus James and Annie just might start acknowledging that they have feelings for each other! I feel like this review is almost a disservice to the book because I'm drastically understating how captivating it is!
This story was a bit slow at the beginning which is to be expected if you have read the other 3 books in the series. I loved the subtle flirting between characters and how it flowed with the overall story. The ending was very exciting and left me wanting the next book. Overall I really enjoyed this book.
