Kiddo got this at his School's Scholastic Book fair. He has been getting the Diary of a Pug books since kindergarten, and we bought one from a bookstore. We need to get the rest of the books starting with book 1.

He really enjoys Bub the Pug's adventures, and Pug the Unicorn was no different. We had a good time trying to find out if Bub and Bella were going to find the unicorn.


So far I've been reading these books to him at bedtime, but I am excited for him to start on his own. The Diary of a Pug books are easy beginner chapter books for a young reader growing in their confidence in reading.

Bub is back in a unicorn costume. 😁 My daughter loves this kind of diary book and has even started writing and illustrations her own books. These series are nice for first and second graders.
