If you like action and assassins this could be a series for you. Reaper: Back In Black by Dan Ames is all about a really bad ass female protagonist that suddenly finds herself the target. This is the second story in this series and the books are short and sweet. They are well written as you can expect from this great author. The book is actaully available in just a few days, go get it and enjoy it as much as I did. Thanks to the author for supplying members of the A-team with an advance copy.

Janae Carter was very specially trained from a very young age, and has now fine-honed her skills to become the Reaper, the country’s most lethal assassin for hire. After an efficient and successful completion of her most recent “job,” she receives a strange warning phone call from her employer’s assistant. The Reaper now finds that SHE has now become the prey and has only minutes to disappear in order to remain alive. Staying one step ahead of a very efficient team sent to eliminate her, the Reaper must muster all of her incredible talents to stay alive and find out who or what has turned her entire life upside down and wants her dead. Incredible story of a very different kind of hero with so many twists and turns it leaves you breathless. Highly recommend this second story in the series.

Sniper/assassin The Reaper is in many ways tops in her job. Hired for another job, everything got handled perfectly....till the moment the effort at backstabbing her failed. And she got wise to what really is happening, the clues pointing straight to her past.

Back in Black by author Dan Ames is quite the eye opener of a new direction by this author in a harsh thriller series that has potential for becoming in high demand once the dry mouth heart throbbing stops.

Reaper is a well-trained assassin and very good at her job. But her world is about to turn upside down after her latest job, especially when she learns a secret from her childhood. Lots of action packed into this story.

The Reaper might be a lethal assassin but now she’s in a lot of danger. Hopefully she’ll figure things out quickly to find out what’s going on and why. Totally enjoyable.

I always look forward to his books, as they grab me from the first pages.
Full of non stop action to the last pages. In this plot she wonders who turned
the tables on her, she is now the prey.
