A really engaging series
The MC is a regressor ikesaied to a similar world in the eastern bloc (Russia). He is vicious to his many enemies and supportive to his friends as he upgrades from a commoner to a noble. He must endure intrigue from many arrogant noble houses where business acquisitions and social standing are often the result of superior firepower. Nobles being backstabbing wankers who use well armed criminal gangs as shock troops and enforcers. It’s also a misogynistic culture where women, even powerful ones, are encouraged to be seen and not heard.
A truly interesting read.
One of the cultural things I dont understand is the different names the characters seem to have. Not sure if they are just nicknames, titles or something else.

Book six
While I'm enjoying the overall story the translation on this one was bad enough that I stopped marking mistakes.
Also I just want to say that the teacher has been a pole dancer for adult entertainment since book one when the MC was a small child so the steadily inching towards making her the MC's lover is kinda gross and I am hopeful that it doesn't actually go that route.
4/10 For 287 pages this desperately needs better editing!

Nice
I've been enjoying this version of a sent back in time storyline. The author has paired it well with a coming of age story. Magic and Martial networks , are well developed and consistent.
This does come with a warning. This is not a stand alone book. You need to have read the previous ones. Also this is just one long story no breaks. I think the author just hits a word count and moves to a new book

Simple and fun. Sometimes slow, but fun characters!
If you made it this long in the series, this is more the same simple fun. The pacing at times can drag, however it's still remains fun. Main character in supporting cast Dole out a plot line much like watching an afternoon soap opera.. it's a guilty pleasure. Light enjoyable mindless fun.

The translation and editing are getting worse each book
Poorly translated colloquial phrases, wrong word usage, incorrect grammar. Get a better editor. A reader should not be required to translate your translation.

The saga continues unabated. It’s interesting that the hero’s powers are growing out rather than directly up. More feminine distractions, and the interior yet more complex problems for this teenager to solve.

enjoy the series
Good book as usual. MC is developing nicely. He makes logical decisions and utilizes his support characters well. Good development of support characters as well.

Again bad treatment of the girl
The series is great except how he treats the one woman he should be with. He
Pushes her away every time. My only complaint but it's a huge issue.

October 31, 2025The translation problems got really bad at the end of the book. The story has come off the rails. I don't think I'm going to read any more of this series. It was fun while it lasted.
