Rate this book
Jason Fabrikant has been given a second chance at life, reborn from a disfigured elderly man into a strikingly youthful twenty-five-year-old. This miraculous transformation is the work of FOY, Inc., a company renowned for its groundbreaking cloning technology. FOY’s headquarters houses a literal fountain of youth, a five-story glass marvel displaying the cloned bodies of their clients, hidden behind cascading water. Yet, beneath this shimmering façade lies a chilling truth.

As Jason adjusts to his renewed life, he uncovers a web of deception. With the aid of Samantha Morgan, a compassionate cardiologist, Jason delves into FOY’s darkest secrets. Meanwhile, radical activist Bastien takes drastic action, leading to a dramatic confrontation at FOY’s headquarters. In his quest for the truth, Jason unravels a deception that threatens everything he thought he knew about himself.

Full of ethical and moral dilemmas, The Glass Fountain was thrilling from beginning to end.

Jason is the first successful transformation through FOY. A company that can bring you back to youth and beauty. Buuuut, like always big promises have risks…corruption…secrets…and lies. This novel also touches on the destruction that we humans bring and how far some will try to protect their ideals and opinions.

A propulsive read, one that asks the biggest question: is it really worth it?

A unique tale of science and deception

This is the second of Jeffrey' s books that I have read. Character development is masterful and the plot truly different from anything else I've read. Fans of science fiction thrillers will love this story.

Rosoff managed to take deep and controversial issues regarding morality and science and approach them in a suspenseful and thoughtful way. I was captivated from the beginning of the book and couldn't put it down. I highly recommend this book and can't wait for Rosoff's next book!

This book touches on all the elements I look for in a story. Technology that is within humanities grasp and how it affects one man’s journey: Jason. I liked the pace of events, keeping me interested every step of the way.

I gravitate towards stories that make me think about issues that I struggle with in my own life. This book really makes you think about how far you’d be willing to go to stay young. I found it to be a fast read with relatable characters and hit a good level of plausibility which can be difficult in this genre. Highly recommend if you like stories that explore human connections mixed with moral issues we grapple with in today’s society.

I really enjoyed this book! The author has a great ability to write characters that you "love to hate" they are dynamic and engaging. Lots of twists and turns as well as morale and ethical quandaries. I would recommend this book to anyone regardless of their preferred book genre. Very nicely done!
