The title Not Even a Spark reflects the grace and protection we experienced during this challenging time. As fear and grief tried to consume us, God’s peace overflowed in our hearts. In the midst of a chaotic storm, when the weight of life-altering medical decisions seemed unbearable, we were sustained by the truth found in Isaiah 43:2: "When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”
This book is an honest look at how we navigated the unknown, choosing a holistic approach to healing through food, faith, and alternative therapies. I share the raw emotions and spiritual revelations we experienced, from the darkest moments of despair to the uplifting presence of God guiding us every step of the way.
