DEVOURED. I DEVOURED THIS.
I love this whole series. I really thought Captor was going to be my favorite because...c'mon, it's amazing! But Father Russo and Sloane? Dannnnng. New faves. Hands down.
This series does need to be read in order - you could pick it up out of order, but there are certain dynamics and events that won't make sense, or you'll be lost. Plus, Captor and Enforcer are wonderful in their own right, so please please please pick them up.
But seriously, this is a book you need to read your trigger warnings for. And if you're a very religious person (trust me, my Catholic father is probably rolling in his grave), this may not be the book for you.

This newest offering in this series is one that you don't want to miss. I am not Catholic but if I was after reading this book and especially Luca would make me want to go to confessional!
The age difference between Luca and Sloane might have been an issue for Luca in the beginning but all it took was Sloane's teasing and he was a goner. He soon realized that age is just a number. There is nothing that can stop what the heart desires.
K.M. always brings the SPICE. Yet, what I really enjoyed was the sweet moments between Sloane and Luca. These scenes allowed me to really get to know them better as well form a strong emotional connection.
Don't feel guilty about reading this book as it is a recommended read. Although, if you do have any guilt, just say three Hail Mary's and you will be good.

This may be my favorite book in the series! Father Russo and Sloane were absolutely perfect! Their tension, angst, and chemistry was top tier. This book had me giggling one minute, and then yelling at my Kindle the next minute. Their story was also quite darker than the other two, which I absolutely loved. This book deals with some very tough situations, so be sure to check the warnings before hand. Father Russo made appearances in the other books, but getting his story made me fall pretty hard for the priest. He was absolutely tested to his already frayed limits by the firecracker that is Sloane, and let me tell you! You're going to want to read this because the mouth on that man! I would be praying in his confessional too! And Sloane is tough as nails and perseveres through anything that is thrown at her. This was another amazing book by the talented K.M. Mixon!

Okay… it was a lot more than I expected. It was a lot darker too! This book really needed the trigger warnings in the beginning. This is forbidden romance at its finest! Unhinged too! The age gap!! YES!! I really enjoyed the dual POV, the MMC’s dilema about his faith and his love for a woman! The plot was also interesting! It was dark but some parts were so homey, and how they interact with each other and morality of their relationship. The mmc was so sweet too! I loved how he would take care of her! The spice was so good too! A little bit too much of a religious kink tho. The ending was good too!

Father Russo or Luca has a big heart; he just can’t help but save Sloane, his friend’s daughter. No matter how forbidden their love is, their hearts can’t keep them apart, no matter what. He gives her hope and saves her from all of the fears in the world with the help of Slate and Brynne. Brynne and Slate will honestly always be my favorite couple within this series. I wish there were more of a sequel with them in it as well. But at the same time, this was an adorable story where he was her savior.

Book 3 in the series and it was might just be the best book too!
I loved the first two, but this was such an emotional roller coaster of a story, and wow I was not prepared for it!
I am obsessed with KM Mixon's writing! She can draw you into the even the darkest of themes and make you want to stay. This book is pretty dark with a lot of on page depravity so please CHECK YOUR TRIGGER WARNINGS, do not take them lightly!!!
If dark is your thing, please give this series a chance it is definitely one of my favorites!

I love how you see more of Slate and Brynne and Dante and Alyssa. This whole series is amazing and one of my favorites from KM Mixon.
